Oh god I'm doing another port request thread [READ THE RULES OR BABY KITTENS WILL CRY]

MusicRequests

Yup it's that time of year again. Oh boy.

So here's the thing, last time I did a port request thread I got seriously burnt out, so this year I'm doing things a little bit different. You're only allowed to request sampled SNES ports, because I can whip a port out with SPC2MML fairly easily. This way I won't get as burnt out porting a bunch of stuff from scratch. I can't promise I can do all of these because I do have a real life outside of SMWC and I don't want to devote all my time to porting songs, but I also enjoy making stuff for you guys, so here we are.

Here are the rules!
1. SNES sampled ports only for reasons stated above
2. The songs can be no longer than one minute UNLESS the song is repetitive and simple (Example: Secret of Mana - Still of the Night)
3. Only one request per person

Not rules, but things to keep in mind!
1. If the song is super complicated I'm less likely to port it
2. Some SNES games have really difficult sound engines to work with, so that may make it difficult for me to fulfill your request

Alright, that's all I need to say. Fuck me up.

How about "Reasoning 1" from Famicom Tantei Club 2?

What..? What do you mean by that? I'm sorry, I don't quite follow.

the track is a tiny bit longer than a minute i hope that's not too bad.

A two second overflow is no big deal.

The joke is you didn't read the rules.
@ ShootingStarr, you requested a port from a Wii game lol.

I kinda classified SMW's default samples as being 'SNES Sampled' tbh... oh, wait. I see what you mean. Songs only from SNES games. I misread, is probably what happened. Don't sweat it, i'll delete the request.

Been kinda waiting for a port request thread for a while, and been wanting this song for some time too, so I was a bit jumpy.
Mega Man X: Password Screen

It's have more 23 seconds but still is a good and a simple music to port (i think).

Edit: Sorry for me being a idiot, the song originally have 0:37 of length, and the non-expanded video that i see have 1:23 of length (because of the loop). Sorry #ab{;_;} .
Alladin(SNES) - Stage 2 theme
Its a very simple, calm and relaxing song.
Duration: 0:30 seconds a loop more or less.
midi and spcin case you need.

Efit:I included a spc now, forgot to put it, sorry

Unfortunately I can't do this one because of how the song is arranged. The notes just kind of appear at random and no channel is dedicated to any particular instrument.

Feel free to edit your post with a different request though!
Can you port this sampled song whenever you have the time?
Song is exactly 1 minute!

F-Zero (SNES) - Big Blue
How about Sequence Introduction on Speed Racer? It's over a minute long but it is a bit repetitive as the first part of the song loops again before the song has noticeable changes. If it's too complicated or too long, I totally understand.

Looking forward to seeing all of the awesome ports you do! And take it nice and easy too, don't burn yourself out or overwork yourself. :)

Could this one be possible? I would like to see that song ported if possible.

Alright, if your up for it, I'm gonna need your opinion on this one.
This song is called "The Soldier" (SPC Play) (SPC Play) from Rise of the Robots.

The song is about 2 minutes, which supersedes the 1 minute limit I know, but the song is generally repetitive regardless.
It does not seem to be that incredibly complex and it only uses 4 audio channels (which are on the last 4 channels apparently, so it's channels #4 to #7), each which seem to only switch instruments from time to time, but not too random at all, only #7 around the end of the song kinda keeps switching back and forth, but it's all a repetitive pattern.

Let me know if the song is too much or if there's anything you need to know.
Hey y'all, Scott here!

I absolutely would but KevinM ported it on request for me a long time ago and has yet to release it
Let me think about one song i have in mind...

What about Bartman from Bart's Nightmare?

Note: The video is 2:59 long but if im not wrong the song without the loops is 0:37 long.
I would love to see some love for Kishin Douji Zenki - Batoru Raiden (SNES),
Especially the music of Stage 2-3: "River Crossing" (There's also a MIDI) sadly the loop is ~1:18 long,
the first 45 seconds are really repetitive, but I would understand If you decide that is too much.
