The song is heavily inspired by this

Sounds good but I think it's missing some Romancing Saga samples to make it sound more like the original. Keep up the good work!
New to porting, here's my very first port. Looking for feedback to improve, any tips.

Dragon Ball Final Bout - The Biggest Fight
Layout by RanAS, modified by yours truly.

Here are some of my ports i need some feedback and advice to improve these

link

i may release these on C3 or release them on SMWC's music section if i get them up to normal standards
This is my non existent layout I plan on adding one soon.. or never

I have a discord server, feel free to join if you want
Hi guys, long time no srs porting.
I really need your feedback/help.

I just "finished" Legend of Mana - Darkness Nova and I wanted to get some help in some smaller or more optmised samples for what I'm already using. (most of it is romancing saga samples) if you know any drum samples with similar sound and quality I can replace these with because as you can hear, my snare at the begining is missing its sample and it's because I ran out of room with the current buffer (and the lower buffers sound real shitty).

Any other critique also welcome as it's also a showoff init.

seems like you haven't lost it yet, this sounds very good! curious if this means the mm9/10 project will be finished this time.

to hear birds and see none.
Gonna be a while before I can instinctively type things out again, I had to look up hex codes so many times.

PLEASE SUBMIT #smrpg{:D}

Only complaint I have with the port is that some instruments are noticeably way louder than others but if you fix that this port is golden.

Thanks! Will maybe return to it and check it out.

As for releasing it, when the time is right :)

Hi, I'm new to porting, and I'd thought i try porting some non game music since I can't really find many.

I'm porting a song called On Melanholy Hill by Gorillaz.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=04mfKJWDSzI

It's a nice chill grooving song i thought might be nice for credits or something.

This is what I have so far:

Looking for any feedback here. Also I'd like to know how to get rid of that tin "eeee" sound on the high note's reverb without losing the presence of the note.

Hey man, awesome to see new blood in the music scene. You have a button on the side bar that says "my files". it's an in-site uploader. Could you upload to there instead? just right click the file when you uploaded it and "copy link address" and paste it here.
Thanks man. I can't wait to listen to ya port!

@Samantha: this sounds really insane. I would love to hear more MM7 arrangemnts from you!
