Who do you credit in shaping your personality?

We’ve all had big influencers in our lives that took part in shaping us into who we are today. Who may some of those people be for you?

I’m asking specifically about your personality

For me:

(I put percents for fun)

My parents 30%
My best friends 10%
AttackingTucans (YouTuber) 20%
Michael Jackson 30%
My brothers 10%
My youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbX4pLm713laHTRtLj9xpxw
My twitch: https://www.twitch.tv/theqwollone
This may sound weird, but the people who are amongst the worst I've ever met in life deserve credit. They've helped me realise that people aren't happy-go-lucky and positive or whatever 24/7. They've given me some of the worst moments of my life and I honestly have to thank them for that. Gosh, I don't know why I just said that. Thanking fake friends for bullying you?
Hello.
With questions like these i cant describe very well. But i'll try my best!

It would be between Spongebob and Madotsuki. I'm a oftenly happy person and i explore my dreams.

I hope i didn't screwed up with something...
Probably my best friend, she made me more emotionally aware.
i just lurk sometimes
Most of the YouTube videos and personalities I watched as a kid are the ones that molded me into the person I am today
To get a little personal: my stepdad is definitely one of the people that has shaped a large chunk of my personality. I didn't even notice it until recently just how much I get from him—the habit of constantly poking fun at people close to me as a form of bonding is something that I liked about him from the very beginning, so I guess I subconsciously mimicked that as I got older. Along with that, he and I also share a lot of the same passiveness when it comes to conflict. Still not sure if that's a good thing or not, but it's an undeniable part of me at this point.
A lot of different people, really. Believe it or not, most of my style of humor and lightheartedness probably came from this site, as I spent a lot of time here when I was younger and various users here rubbed off on me (god what a loser I once was). Slowbeef and Diabetus from the Retsupurae channel, as well as TJ Kirk of The Amazing Atheist influenced me a lot when I was about 9-12 as well, as that's where I learned early on how to use logic and rationality. I'm still a big fan of Retsupurae though.

There was also a radio show in Kansas City that I religiously listened to every single day right up until the moment when it was cancelled a few months ago. I absolutely adore the three people behind that show and still do as much as I can to support them in their current projects to this day. I can't say that their personalities rubbed off on me so much, but I will give the show credit for really getting it into my head how valuable it is to hear perspectives on issues from people all over the world (since people can call in to the show and weigh in, it always fascinated me to hear people share their opinions on various news topics).

he so randome lol
Probably King Zora in Zora's domain, as a kid I didn't like Gorons much they seemed loud obnoxious and they didn't like to swim. However, seeing King Zora interact with Biggoron made me doubt myself and come to the conclusion that "you know what maybe Gorons aren't that bad" and I ended up being a more loving and accepting person after that experience.
when i was like 13 SNN told me to shut up and stop being so annoying so i did
ask me if i give a f*ck...
4. Various weird videos
3. A lot of people talking around these forums
2. My parents
1. My best friends

One of the most important places I can definitely credit to shaping my personality would certainly be 1/3 this site, another third the other site I help manage and some friends here and there along the way.

I can also credit my mom a bit too. In many ways, besides what she taught, her passing was an important time for me. Turning 18 the day after and realizing how truly finite life was a sign of me needing to really do something important for people and making the most out of my life.

This community has been great and it has been even better being able to be apart of something I have know for well over a decade now. Sort of surreal that I will spend just as much time here as how old I was when I first joined the site.

And in some cases, I imagine some of the younger folk here has already done so.

The site has done so much. Some of my first real online friends were here. Some of my more interesting random moments were here (ugh past me). And the joys of still being here after all this time still stays strong.

I can't see myself disappearing/leaving this site anytime soon short of suddenly exploding or combusting into flames. So let's hope for another good decade!

My friends in #rena (now internet delay chat, we moved to Discord). Previously I was a 4channer edgelord, now I'm a filthy SJW communist.

Mainly a combination between this website and the people I've met and befriended, along with a few Youtubers, especially the AVGN and videogamedunkey; it also helped that this website was very important in making me a better and more mature person, because I don't think I'd even have improved as much had it not been for this place haha

Everyone.

No, that is not hyperbole. That is the truth.

Everyone has played a part in forming who I am today. I've sponged just about everything everyone has done to me, good or bad, and I've used it as learning experience. And it's helped my personal growth.

And that list just keeps getting bigger the more people I meet.

STELLA!
Super hard question to answer. Everyone who's played a role in my life has shaped me somewhat.
One of these days I was talking to a friend about how even my jackass ex-boyfriend influenced me into some of the spirituality I have today.

Most of it is intrinsic, I think. We just gotta pick the right people to awaken the right stuff on us. I think I've done well enough so far.
It's easily the best thing I've done
So why the empty numb?
I can't answer this question with 100% of certainty. Everyone who's taken part of my life has molded me into the person I am today.
That includes people from the past who were jackasses to me and, without knowing, influenced my personality. That was one of my several learning experiences.

Are you alive or just breathing?
god i wish i had a personality
your simplistic human mind cannot possibly comprehend the complexities of my thoughts
I can’t answer this question without them accusing me of libel. Safe to say, they didn’t do a great job.

That's what I call character development!
_____________

Anyway, for me, certainly my dad and later on my friends.
I'd say a bunch of characters from all types of media kinda influenced me slightly too when younger.

Nowadays, I'd say that so many years on the Internet, plus listening to all kinds of music and reading about certain cultures and subcultures just made too big of an impact to say that I'm the same person as before. While I'm still me at the core, things just change with time.

Although I do believe part of that change is mostly through experiences rather than people directly.

Regardless, I'd say that said years of Internet made me considerably different. One of the people I can say definitely helped that was raocow, since he made me learn English better and is one of the main reasons why I talk and think certain ways.

A more recently (like a few years), I'd say people on SMWC and the hyperpower and squad (or whatever name they go by now) servers on Discord also helped me change (hopefully for the better). Being more aware of certain things that I just wouldn't be, more up to date with the times and less unintentionally insensitive.

Of course I'll always be changing in a way or another, it's just part of life, we continue to experience things, start thinking a bit differently and interact with a lot of different people that may just make us change even more.
