Users should get an alert if a thread they're watching gets moved to the Trash Can/Display Case

Idk, it just seems like it'd be a useful feature to have.

We already kind of get notified when a thread moves to another forum (it shows up translucent in the original forum) so I don't see what this would accomplish. If the point you're trying to make is that it lets the user know if the thread they're watching is something they can no longer post in, then why is it just trashed and DC'd threads? Why not include threads that were just closed normally as well?

Getting notified that a thread you're watching gets moved at all would be an nice QOL idea.

STELLA!
We tend to make posts explaining why we move threads when it happens, but I'm not opposed to this idea.
Good suggestion, but I'd also like to get informed whenever a thread I'm watching gets closed or reopened. I think that'd mean I get info about Staff Status being reopened or closed every once a staff member posts, but I don't mind it much.
I have a Discord server as well! (by joining, you agree to the rules)

Basically, I believe in peace and bashing two bricks together.

Staff members can actually post in closed threads, so you wouldn't get notified in that specific instance. We don't have to open and close it to post.
