I know it's rather easy to just filter it by featured status in the hacks section or check the news posts, but this will work both to give past featured hacks some extra attention and is also a little more in-depth, including screens of each hack and a short comment on it as well. Here will be kept all featured hacks on the new system, so that you don't have to search for the news posts made for them.

HACK NAME: Dr. Mario World Redrawn AUTHOR: B.B.Link HACK PAGE/DOWNLOAD COMMENTS: This hack has an interesting story, fun and memorable levels and various changes from the original SMW, such as two players with unique abilities (Dr. Mario and Wario), a log-styled overworld and Virus levels inside patients' bodies replacing the usual castles! Certainly worth giving it a try. | |

Has tons of postgame content as well, most of which adds a lot to the hack's story (which is very unique as well). HACK NAME: K-16 - Story of Steel AUTHOR: Eevee HACK PAGE/DOWNLOAD COMMENTS: A really different hack. It has a completely unique character, story, gameplay and graphics. The design is interesting and makes good use of K-16's abilities, which are rather different from Mario's. Recommended for both the originality and the overall gameplay. | |

HACK NAME: Janked Up Mario Party (JUMP) AUTHOR: worldpeace, JUMP team HACK PAGE/DOWNLOAD COMMENTS: Definitely one of the most grand hack cmaollabs to date, featuring a large variety of gimmicks and level design quirks, plus some very impressive coding and ASM work. This hack also currently holds the record for the most number of exits, standing at 125. The hack definitely gets very hard in later levels, but playing it is a very fun roller-coaster of an experience. | |

HACK NAME: Super Mario World Remix AUTHOR: YMM HACK PAGE/DOWNLOAD COMMENTS: A hack which mixes Kaizo philosophy with regular level design. It doesn't only manages to keep a consistent pace trough the whole length, but it also doesn't become frustrating, which is pretty common among kaizo hacks. Definedly worth to be played; it's one of the kaizo hacks we host that doesn't require that many savestates to get trough, if not any. Try it out! | |

Then this is the hack for you! Classified as 100% vanilla, this hack uses nothing but Lunar Magic. Despite it, it manages to be entertaining and fun to play, with cool concepts and ideas that are neatly pulled off, despite the heavy limitation.
