Erik's ASM Releases: i ran out of references [Day 4 - I made conveyor slopes today]
Oh this one I don't like it at all...

The wings don't quite sync with the segments no matter how much I tried to. But anyway, do you expect pokeys to fly right?
That's all for the day.

thwomp turning into thwimps looks funny, not gonna lie. everything looks great!
Great work all around! Also that pokey's behavior is pretty clever.
The new sprites...hoo boy, it won't be easy for me to think of a comment for each of them, but here goes.
Beet platform: the speed change is a little bit unusual IMO, but other than that, it's an interesting sprite to say the least.
Switch-controlled line guide rope: I actually like this sprite. I have a funny feeling it could get some clever uses.
Shattering Thwomp: This is something I definitely didn't expect to see, though it is kinda neat. Could easily catch a player off guard though if used well.
Flying Pokey: Seeing how this sprite works is really interesting; I have a funny feeling these may go well with line guided platforms that move slowly along a track (imagine tricking one into dropping one of its segments before you get past it, it might be a little trickier when using a line guided platform sprite). On a different note, did you consider putting the wings on the head instead?
As for the triangles, again, thanks a bunch for making them. One question though, do the ceiling triangles have any effect on Yoshi?

Dude these are amazing and very creative! Hopefully you can get the triangle block patch to work with the 32x32 player patch soon.

I think the beet platforms fall too fast.
I'll tweak it when I submit it to the section.

I didn't test, but they shouldn't.
Thanks for the feedback, guys. The thread feels more boring without me making requests, I know, but I still appreciate the comments.
Anyways, here is The Fall Off. Overworld Toys. Don't see if you judge the overworld contest.
When Day 3 - The Off Season - arrives... well I don't have anything prepared but maybe I'll make more random sprites like yesterday. But no requests.
I WAS LITERALLY ABOUT TO FRICKIN DO THAT YOU CRAZY MAN
Oh wow, a line guided springboard. That has to be one of the coolest sprites I've ever seen. Nice work on that one.
All of these sprites are pretty awesome. The pokey and line-guided spring are my favourites. I find line-guided sprites can have a lot of utility. Also, the overworld sprites are amazing!! Great work as always Erik.

Hands down best "vanilla" type sprite coder Erik! I love seeing all these.
The line-guided springboard can have some improvement, like setting the player's X position to follow the springboard when landing on it, like clamp it [PlayerXPos = SpringboardXPos + Displacement] where Displacement is ranging from -$0E to $0E so that the player doesn't stop in midair while the springboard “disconnects” off from the player.
Give thanks to RPG hacker for working on Asar.

Nice sprites! The line-guided spring is 100% my favorite so far due to how flexible it is (as most line guided sprites are I guess), but I also really like the splitting thwomp.
Erik back at it again with the 👌👌👌 ASM

I'd rather leave Mario floating what with him looking funny, instead of insinuating the spring has a glued surface.
As to the rest, thanks for the comments <3
Speaking of cursed sprites, welcome to day 3.

I also made this:
But it's kinda weird, so I don't plan on releasing it unless there's enough interest.
I'd say release it, weird sprites are the best.
