So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish

Kieran I've been here for 10+ years and I can easily say this is the best community I've ever been apart of. Goes to show that you've done great at what you started.

Thanks Kieran for everything you've done!
Thank you so much for everything Kieran. Thank you for giving a foundation to this amazing community helping this niche flourish, without a site like this none of this would have happened. Good luck wherever life takes you #w{<3}.

From our family to you, keep your pants dry, your dreams wet, and remember, hugs not drugs.
It's going to be weird seeing you now as a regular user... either way, it's for the best. I wish you the best luck with life!

On a more personal note, thank you for everything! For the nice place to stay and chances to be part of the staff team - they've made many of my days brighter.

Oh man, this really was an era. You could argue it ended long ago with Pac and Smallhacker disappearing, or with you giving up the head admin role, but the site's creator stepping down so none of the original founders are left feels a lot more... grand.

Thanks so much for giving me (and so many others) an internet home, for 12 years and counting. You probably had a greater influence on our lives than either of us would think.

Glad to hear you'll still be somewhat around. Good luck in the next chapter of your life!

You’re a legend in my eyes Kieran, who did a legendary thing. I’m sure I speak for all of us when I say we’re all really greatful for this community you created.

Thanks for all of this, and good luck moving forward #smw{:peace:}

Thanks a million for bringing this site and community into existence, Kieran. I've only been here for 2 years, but I've loved every moment of it, and wouldn't have it any other way.

Good luck with your future endeavors and the like! #smrpg{y}
What is a Lunar Magic, and can I eat it?

So long Partner Good luck with your future
Thank you for all the power you have put into this website. Good luck with your future endeavors.
Well, I can't say I didn't see this coming, because the writing has been on the wall for quite some time. It was a matter of when it was going to happen. Well, today just so happens to be that day.

Thank you for all your services and what you have brought this site. Your efforts will not be easily forgotten. If there was one regret I have, it's not spending any time on this site sooner and experience this community you've helped mold and create. I believe you have chosen the right people to pass the torch to, as I am confident they will keep the torch lit for us. Those 14+ years you've put into this site will not go to waste, I promise.

Good luck in your endeavors, and who knows, hopefully we'll see you again later. It's not a straight up goodbye, is it?

STELLA!
Wow, I didn't expect this at all... but Kieran, your reasons are perfectly understandable. Thank you so much for everything you've done. You're a great guy and I wish you the absolute best in your future. Good luck.
Thank you for all the work over the last 14 years, best of luck.

That's really sad to hear this site going down. Hopefully the new site is going to be better.

just wanted to quickly pipe in on some stuff here before it turns into misinformation: the site as is isn't going to be shut down, and nothing is going to be lost with resources, posts, etc. there will be a site transfer which will come with downtime (think of it like site maintenance), and following this we may begin to look into implementing an updated setup for the site to bring us more into the Modern Age.

to preach to the choir, thanks kieran for being the reason this place exists. the fact that smw hacking is anything like it is is thanks to you.

i'm happy to support noivern as the official smwcentral money man, and telinc1 as the codemaster.
about damn time the server moves to north america

cant believe you never burned this place to the ground i wouldve done it

anyways youll be missed itll be weird not blaming you for site issues. good luck with the rest of your life
Huh, this certainly isn't what I was expecting to see when I woke up this morning.

As far as I can recall we've hardly ever interacted. The only interaction I can recall was during the whole Leomon/lion ban debacle back in the day. That said though, thank you for keeping this site up and running for the past 14 years. SMWC has been my primary internet home for a long time, and even though I've pretty much retired SMW hacking and I'm not nearly as active as I used to be, it will always be a home for me.

I salute you my dude. Thank you for your service, and good luck with your future endeavors.
I know I've been mostly a lurker and never got a chance to know you that well, but I want to wish you the best of luck all the same. I understand your decision - we all have to turn the page at some point, which is never an easy process, no matter how you go about it.

At any rate, farewell, Kieran. Thank you for everything, and I mean everything you've done here on SMWC.
I regret that we've sort of fallen out of touch since I stepped down as an admin, but it felt wrong to not chime in at this point. I'm genuinely surprised you stuck it out as long as you did - we had so many conversations in the past where I was sure you'd give it up sooner, but your devotion to keeping this site and community alive (through all of its ups and downs) is stunning. Like WYE said, this definitely feels like an end of the era - as someone who has been here through the site's history, this is the final change that makes me feel like the old SMWC I grew up with is gone.

Thanks for everything you've done. You know where to find me if you ever want to chat.
I only recently joined this site so I regret to say that I never knew about you that much but still I'd like to thank you for running this site for so long. It has been a very helpful forum for smw rom hacking and I wish you the best of luck in your new projects.
SMWC is the best big community I've ever joined, even it's in a foreign language for me.

Thanks for everything you done with the site! Hope you be better in your real life.
