This soundfont is meant for casual listening, however, you can compose with it as well. You can load it up on programs like Foobar2000 (MIDI component), or Droidsound-E (on Android), or any other program that can load up soundfonts automatically.
Released v1.1 update, changelog is in original post.
Just something about the Rock Organ. It's not the actual organ that plays in SM64. If you go to the camera bank 09 there are 3 other instruments. They are the glockenspiel, another electric piano, and the actual Rock Organ. If you can somehow implement these into the next update I would definitely appreciate it. As always amazing work with the new SM64 soundfont.

I used some extra samples from Super Mario 64 DS to give a little more variety.

Ahh ok. So that's where the other instruments comes from ok.
Okay just one more thing to point out. I noticed that there is not the percussion loop from the Sand Land and Bowser course bank. Do you think it will be difficult to find the original key for it (like how the accordion has a key of 1.000000 in Subdrag's soundtool and the percussion loop has a key of 0.280933)?

There's no percussion loop because this soundfont was meant to be General MIDI standard. (As in the instruments fit over the original MIDI instruments.)
Oh ok. That makes sense on why it is not implemented into the soundfont. It still would have been good to put it in, but I guess the soundfont will stay as it is.

Do you know where the haunting wind instrument is? It is used in BBH. #smw{o_O?}

It's not on there because it doesn't really fit anywhere within General MIDI.
Awesome, but yet, how do I install the synth to my computer? If I want to use it on programs like Piano From Above, then how do I install it?
This is a footer.
I'm sorry to continue this dead thread but, where's the instrument that plays in the background of File Select? I know the melody, but what about the bassline? By the way, is there any SM64 soundfont that isn't inspired by the General MIDI instruments?
i dont know how to make rom hacks
All of the 3 songs were removed from SoundCloud. They show up properly here, but attempting to play them results in the not found error.

I tried to report this to Pablo's Corner on Discord, but he disabled DMs, meaning no one can DM him. Instead of friending him, I'm posting here.

Apologies for that, links should be fixed now.

Where do you find these informations about the loop keys ??? I really need them as i'm making my own sound library in Kontakt since the soundfont is missing so much instruments
Well, nevermind, I did it myself by modifying the pre-existing SF2 file in Polyphone.
I'll add a link there to the edited SF2 if you want all the sounds I added (everything is from Mario 64/64DS)
Here's what I changed :
- Added Bells, Spooky Choir (heard in Big Boo's Haunt), Clock Bells, Ting, Voice "Paas", Khyal, Perc Organ, Saxophone, and many more into the soundbase
- Completed the Drum Kits with Cowbell, Sleigh Bells, Wood blocks, Brush Snare, Kick Rim, several Tabla hits (heard in Shifting Sand Land), and a few more
- Modified the mapping of the sounds onto the GM map better and added all the sounds aformentionned (ex: for some reason, Voice "Oohs" weren't assigned to GM's Ooh Choir, ex: added Vibraphone to GM's Vibraphone)
- Took some liberties with GM's synth sounds (ex: GM's Synth FX "Bowed" is made up of the Sitar sound and the String sound)
- On the technical side, fixed some looping issues

Here's the link, of course all the credit is for Pablo's Corner who did a very good job in the first place (Pablo if you read this and you like what I made with your soundfont, feel free to take all the credit and re-release it as your own, I don't mind)
