Hey! It's been 2019 for a little while now, so I guess we should really get to posting the results. Sorry for the long wait! Without any further ado, here are the final results for the YI contest!

Rykon's level was my personal favourite in this contest so not surprising he's the winner of this contest.
What's a pity is that there weren't many contestants (only 8 of which one was disqualified) due to lack of interest in Yoshi's Island hacking.
Hello, I know I have asked this before, but why do I always get last place? I worked really hard on my level, but I probably got tired from testing it so I forgot that I had an extra red coin, and I am not sure if the music overrode the ASM so that is why the last message block has the original message from 1-1. It was supposed to say something like, "You made it. I hope you liked my level."

Also, it seems like they always overcritical, but I tested the tile changers, and sometimes they worked fine and sometimes, they didn't. I couldn't really help that, but it seemed like there were two beginner levels like one level just had sand blocks and cement blocks with green coins, and when I first started making SMW2, I used to do that and people told me it was bad.

I was also trying to make Prince Froggy swallow Yoshi and then spit him out in another room, but then the level data broke w/the music in the castle so maybe some of my choices were not the best, but like I said, I worked really hard on my level. I think I remember on the last night, I stayed up until like 5 o'clock in the morning finishing my level and testing it a lot of times.

Also, the difficulty was not really impossible except maybe in that one part where you had to hit the ? spike block with an egg. I kept moving the ? block up higher, and I tried everything, but then how did that one DR. Kaizo Mario level score so high? I remember watching Trihex playing that and having trouble with it.

Again, sorry if the submarine level seemed frustrating, but explain to me how it's possible to get stuck at the end. I understand it took a few times to get past it, but that was kind of the point. I was trying to increase the difficulty a little bit while trying to make it as fun as possible, and in Golden Egg, the way the level was designed, the clear water was like one tile above the blue water. I could not help that, but I thought the clear tile was like supposed to be the top of the water.
Also, I have seen the big giant fish in a water level somewhere so I thought it would be interesting, and I added the jumping fishes to try to add more variety.

I think it seems like over time, the level entries get better so my level was not terrible, but it seems like I have to work harder to make a better level. I just have trouble thinking of a certain theme so I just do whatever I think is fun for me. I wish there would have been an extension for a few days, and that would have given me a chance to make sure I tested everything correctly, but I guess I had fun working on a level. I wish there would have been a few more entries also and congratulations to Rykon.

If you swim to the left after sinking down with the green platform and swim past the lunge fish, you can trap yourself here.

As for the tileset changer issues, the problem is that you placed them too close together. There should be a little bit more than a full screen of space between the two sets so that they can't be loaded in at the same time.
