Thanks for the reply! I'll be sure to revise these details you pointed before the deadline if possible (currently very busy so I dunno if this will be possible). Anyway, I'm glad to hear you enjoyed this level!

Might as well take this opportunity and post a link to a gameplay video of my entry for all guys lazy enough to play it.

edit: level was slightly updated so some stuff seen in the video doesn't reflect the current version.

I don't have time to play this right now but I just wanted to drop by and say how clever it is and how balanced the difficulty is as well. Don't think I've ever seen people manipulate layer 3 water the way you did before. I like the myriad of possibilities you can do with it at all.
Windowless ride, feeling alive
Are you alive or just breathing?
Loving what you've done here! I've always been fond of industrial themes (the route I took, too) and I think what you've done with the tides is monumental #tb{^V^} #tb{^V^}
That's a beautiful design. Expert use of vanilla graphics.

I haven't played a high tides level in a long time, this will be great.

Thanks for the feedback, people! Didn't expect so many replies lol, I'm happy :3

Updated the level. Minor edits were done, like moving "surprise" Thwomps to safer spots, and the last screens of the main level had the ledge lowered by one tile to avoid unfair hits
when coming from above the 3up area and falling into water while a Thwomp is also there
.
