Worst game you ever played?

Hey guys just want to tell you what is the worst game you have ever played? for me Ninja Gaiden for the NES the Soundtrack is amazing however the level design is HORRIBLE! There are so much SPAMMING ENEMIES! Witch makes it a NIGHTMARE!!! anyways what was the worst you ever played?

The Megaman 8 bootleg for the Game Boy Color. Want a quick, easy, painful way to burn out your ears and eyes? Play that game!
Or if we're talking official games, it'd have to be Super Monaco GP II for the SEGA Genesis. Literally the most boring racing game ever.

Probably Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric. Especially on multiplayer, with the horrible, unpredictable tendency to respawn everyone right behind one of the other players every few seconds. Not to mention how the visuals completely just... Stop Existing the second you have two players, and that for some reason only three people can play at once despite there being four main characters? It's weird!

For a less obvious choice though, I'd have to say Flip's Twisted World on the Wii. I feel bad too, because the concept art and the trailer were both really cool, so there was clearly some passion behind it! But the game was just... so poorly put together. If you simply walk back into the room you came in from, it'll replay the cutscene that happens when you first entered, sometimes putting the game into a softlock if something in the room has been destroyed or altered in a way that screws up the cutscene. There was... also this one gap in a floor that was too small to actually fall through but just big enough to put you into a static falling animation until the counter times out and you die from "falling."

Despite this, both of these games are actually pretty fun to play in short bursts, in their own right. Just because it's hilarious seeing how much certain things are messed up.

Old thread but Ninja Gaiden's enemy placement is pretty decent. The "spamming" was probably you getting knocked back so the triggers would reset every time you crossed a certain path. Getting knocked back in both directions would result in spawning the same critter twice so I know what you mean...

Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly

Having played the PS1 Spyro trilogy I was excited for this game when it was announced. When I finally got hold of it and started playing, that excitement quickly faded. First off, the framerate is absolute garbage! You could be running at 60 FPS one moment and then it would drop into the 20s. Next, is Sparx constantly interrupting you for tutorials about shit you already knew in the last 3 games. I mean I know how to break the vases you idiot!
When I started the first level, I noticed how terrible the loading times were. It can take up to as much as 2 minutes to load just one level.
The level design is bland as hell. There are big areas with next to nothing going on.
Catching the Dragonflies with the Bubble Breath is a right chore. The hit detection is godawful!
I like the concept of the different breath abilities but they are barely used at all. The wing shield ability is completely useless except for defeating a specific enemy and then you never need it again.
The game is much shorter than those in the trilogy. In the original games they would have at least 20 levels each.
This game, however, has just NINE.
But because of how broken this game is, you can glitch straight to the final boss and beat the game in just over a MINUTE!
The only positive is that Stewart Copeland composed the music like in the trilogy but it's not as memorable.

What about the players who played Enter the Dragonfly as their first Spyro game?
I have a Discord server as well! (by joining, you agree to the rules)

Basically, I believe in peace and bashing two bricks together.

Probably Top Gun.

Having seen AVGN, I decided to try it for myself. I can't remember ever landing.

I've got an idea on what is the worst game I've ever played. Sonic and the Secret Rings! My god do I hate this game! First off it has nothing to do with the older Sonic games! Actually I probably didn't even think I was playing a Sonic game at least subconsciously. I feels so little like an actual Sonic game that it might as well be something completely different! But not only is the design of the game terrible, bland and not at all interesting or fun! But from what I remember it was also not programmed very well either. The entire game is just CRAP!!!! IT SUCKS!!!! I'm sure I've played worse games. But this is all I could think of.
I've never truly owned a bad game. If there was a game I truly considered bad, it was a game I nonetheless enjoyed, either as a guilty pleasure, or as a "it's so bad it's good" type of thing.

I've filed my grievances about Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn enough times to annoy the hell out of any lawyers, but at least that game works as intended. Even if I don't agree with how the game was handled.

That being said, the worst of the worst I have ever played was definitely Super James Pond on SNES. Its graphics were absolutely hideous (even by SNES standards) and its level design was questionable at best. But the game kinda had a charm, so it's more of a "so bad it's good" type of deal.

At least the writing is good though. Not sure why you hate it so much.
Goldeneye: Rogue Agent was offensively boring and a snorefest. It's quite a shame too because they had some cool ideas like being able to dual wield different types of guns at the same time. It's just an unplayable game because of how boring it is.

"The Town with No Name" for the Amiga CDTV. My uncle somehow had both the console and the game, so I asked him if I could try it.

I won't say why it's bad. The only thing I'll say is that you can literally remake that game using PowerPoint.
Atomic Bomber Man for windows, bomber man act zero.
this will be a rom hack, but that will be hammer bro by blackout 77. there is brutal mario plagiarism just like super mario kollision, terrible use of the SMB1 Scrolling, broken levels, improper reskins (Like reskining a rex as a blader), impossible bosses (like metal man), and more flaws
hello i have a question about snes
> which of the super mario world games has a stage where you have to jump in oil to get the KEY?
> im looking all over for it but cant find the game or the stage?
> can you help me find the name im prety sure its on your website?
> its the one where you have to hold your breath under the oil and it has a meter for your breath ! you have to blindly dive in chocholate mud to get the key can someone help
Jasko again like I said here this is not the appropriate place to ask about a specific hack, if you'd like to try and figure it out posting a new thread here would be better.
Spongebob Squarepants Truth or Square for the xbox 360

Is just Activision 'enhancing' battle from bikini bottom. In shorter words, is a cash grab.
Vietnam: Black Ops. While I had less fun with SpongeBob SquarePants: Legend of the Lost Spatula, at least that game functioned. Not well, but I wasn't seeing the face texture of a North Vietnamese soldier stretch across a large flat plane in midair clipping through objects, or easily accessing obviously out of bounds areas, or just straight up crashing. Also it just wasn't fun.
