ANOTHER KAIZO HACK (Big Beat Kaizo)

Kaizo/PitSuper Mario WorldScreenshots

Hello! If you're active in the #kaizo channel in the Discord, you might have seen a couple of gifs of kaizo levels I've posted!
Unsurprisingly, these levels are for a hack I'm making called Big Beat Kaizo™️ (named after this)

Here are some screenshots (Reminder: This hack is still in quite in it's early state (A lot of levels aren't finished, finalized or even made basically)) :

i've even done a little bit of ow hehehe

Edit: almost forgot the picture of mario with his ass every kaizo hack screenshot has

I'm also planning to release a demo, but that'll happen when some levels are completed.
That is it. Bye.
So i suppose this is kaizo: hard? For a kaizo: light hack this looks very difficult. Perhaps it plays easier from than it looks like, but judging from the screenshots it looks like you had to use savestates regularily.
However it looks rather creative and whenever a demo is finished i'd like to give it a try. Except for the strangely scrolling clouds in your first screenshot's bg, the aesthetics look decent, too. #tb{:)}

Nope, it's a Kaizo: Light hack. I will admit that it is quite hard for a kaizo: light hack though.
Being someone who has seen most of the gifs you posted in the discord, I'm quite excited for the demo; most things about your hack are looking pretty nice, and I've barely even studied what you actually have posted in this thread; this is just coming from what you've put on the discord. (and now looking, it looks like that's some of what you've put here as well! :D)

Most of the things within what you've shown so far don't seem to follow any sort of previous trend or idea; most of the things are completely original ideas, or at least taking a different approach to designs than what [I've] previously seen. The aesthetic quality of what you've shown so far is also pretty nice as well, in my opinion.

It's impossible to truly "criticize" (or have an opinion at all) something that doesn't exist yet, however, but I'm sure that I'm not just tripping here when I say this looks pretty good.

Keep it up, man! I'm definitely looking forward to this, as are some others I imagine.
I've seen the couple images you showed on Discord, and the levels are pretty good and not that stressful. And I mean especially the throw blocks concept.

I could see how much heart you are having in making it, so I'm already quite excited for the demo #tb{:D}
Windowless ride, feeling alive
Are you alive or just breathing?
It's exciting to see new creative faces in the kaizo community who come up with creative stuff like this (Especially in some of the screenshots you LEFT OUT of this thread). Really excited to see where you take this hack!

There's something really special to me about a hack being named in honor of Big Beat Mario. Definitely one of my favorite of those YTPMV sorts.

It's a kaizo, so that's gonna be a no from me dawg, but that non-euclidian-looking background you can interact with looks dope af. I like that idea a lot.

allow shy guy emojis in post footers you cowards!
Well, the images here for this hack look really good. The level design shown in them looks well done, and the gimmicks appear interesting. I especially like this image; the layer-hopping in this stage appears very fun to play- even if this is a Kaizo hack.

I'm surprised most people like the Layer 2 level (mainly because i stole that level idea from barb and call of cthulhu LUL)
