Happy/Sad about return to normalcy?

So we have returned normal here on the Central. Personally I like it better this way. The changed names and color changes made it too difficult to read and/or see what people's names were (especially the deep red ones), and tell who was who, in my opinion. And some of the names were just too darn funny to be funny.

Are you all happy or sad about the return to normalcy here? Ultimately of course we can expect yet another holiday change here within the next few months for Christmas. But I'll enjoy this while it lasts, haha~

I like the default colors and not having to hover over usernames. It's a relief to be back to normal, in that way.

The only site change I'm really excited about, mostly because of nostalgia, is the rainbow names around New Year's. #tb{^V^}

(heh, looking at the thread title I was expecting some serious Reality corner material, and it kind of applies to my current real-life situation too. the answer would still be the former.)

The Halloween colors were cool at first, but they started to look old the moment it became November.

I'm pretty content that the site's turned back into itself. While it can be exciting to change your username into something different, funny, or punny, I feel that the fun only lasts during the holiday event. Once the actual holiday passes, many users wind down and wait for the site to revert back to normal, including me. It's kinda bittersweet, in a way.
What is a Lunar Magic, and can I eat it?
I find it comparable to holiday decorations in real life. They’re cute and fun when they first come out but by the time the holidays are coming to a close you’re sick of them and looking forward to things getting back to normal.
By the thread title I almost had assumed that the United States had finally returned to an isolationist foreign policy again as envisioned by Warren G. Harding in his 1920 presidential campaign.

But yeah I prefer the default colors and having to hover over names to keep track of who everyone was was a hassle.
I'm ok with changing for special holidays, and I'm ok with the original website. I'm just not a fan of name changing. I mean, some are nice and fun, but it requires more steps to know who is saying something or who did that block or patch (I note the name of author for everything I download, for credit puposes, and it makes it more tedious)

Nixing holiday name changes for the site sections like Romano suggested might actually be a good idea, yea? It's likely there have been people who put "obligatory festive name" into their credits, unaware that it's a temporary name change. And it only has to apply to the sections of course.
