10 years...

Well, I've officially been registered on SMW Central for 10 years (and a few minutes). That's kind of crazy, really. I do wish that I'd been able to accomplish more in those 10 years, though. I had planned on showing something off today for the occasion, but I was having some development troubles with it. I hope that I can keep creating things here, maybe even for another 10 years.

----------------

I'm working on a hack! Check it out here. Progress: 64/95 levels.
Congratulations! You're a veteran for sure.

Don't worry about how much you think you should have accomplished. Projects will go through phases of inactivity and then spurts of enthusiasm, the great thing is you can just leave it for a while, take a break, then come back to it any time while it's been gathering dust on the shelf.

Nothing is lost, you do it when you want to do it.

Looks like we all hit our decade this year haha

Don't feel bad about accomplishing or not accomplishing stuff, cause in the end nobody grades you by how many hacks you made or if you put too much echo on channel #2, the way I see it were all graded b for badass

Happy 10 years!

Are you alive or just breathing?
Seems like I missed my own 10 year anniversary, it was just over a week ago, so I guess "welcome to the 10 year club" is something appropriate to say here. #smw{:TUP:}
Feel free to visit my website/blog - it's updated rarely, but it looks pretty cool!
Congrats on ten years and thanks for your contributions. I've put many of them to good use. #smw{:TUP:}
Kudos to you for sticking with it!

I've had phases of inactivity and would have joined a year earlier had I not been scared of it being "illegal" to mod roms, something I was worried about. I know better now.

If you ever release any rom-hacks, message me on here. I'd be more than happy to review it for you. I've reviewed about 10 rom-hacks, some in video format. I would be more than happy to write a review for you.

Cheers!
Heh, that's a good one. Welcome to the 10 Year Club, danwaleby, RPG Hacker, Conal and imamelia!!

Don't worry, I've been here for over 10 years and contributed absolutely nothing to this site except for cringeworthy forum posts. I can at least say that I recognize your username from way back in the day, and if I recall correctly, you've made plenty of accomplishments. I think everyone wishes that they could've done more with the time they had, but that doesn't mean it wasn't a waste, or that the accomplishments they did achieve are somehow worth less because of it, by any means.
I've myself been registered for 11 years, 1 month and 21 days, and I visited smwcentral even before they got a forum (where discussion were on acmlm board) but I haven't contributed much to the site, mostly doing things on my side in secret. Actually I registering in 2007 but my first forum post was two years later in 2009.
It's not like I don't like the community or anything, but I'm more of a lurker, just posting very rarely but still staying here because SMW hacking is important to me.
But no matter how long you've been, what matter is the quality of your contribution to the SMWhacking community. And you did a good job !
I think I first found this site back in like 2007 or 2008 but put off on actually joining - I kind of wish I registered a little sooner.

It's awesome to see how many people on here are now hitting the ten-year mark. It makes me kind of sad how fast time is flying by, but I guess it can't be helped. Hard to believe it's been almost 5 years since I actually registered. Holy shit.
