QuoteI forgot one secret in one stage already passed and i got forced to beat the level again
Didn't really thought about that, I overlooked this small detail, my bad lol.
QuoteThe secret in the first level is a bit bullshit, I tried to get him for 10 mins but nothing so big
In the first betas of the game, that exit was supposed to be something you'd access in late game. Since many of my testers complained that levels with secrets weren't marked on the map, I ended up signing every secret with stars in the overworld level name. Perhaps I should've made a better control than
getting all the 4 WakaCoins of the level
.
Quote- Losing your Waka-coins when you die and have already reached a midpoint. I suppose this is more of a "risk reward" thing more than anything, but I find it somewhat annoying that you can't just "keep" what you've collected already when you reach the midpoint. This was especially a problem when it came to the previously mentioned boss I said I beaten. Now I'm not sure how hard it would be to implement a system where it saves at the midpoint but gets erased from memory as soon as you beat the stage (ala NSMBDS), but it would be pretty handy to have especially since you already worked a decent amount just to have the coins to begin with.
We have a patch for saving collected dragon coins. There's only one issue:
I reached a point where adding extra patches in my hack makes random songs explode. This already happened with the credits song (and afaik a couple others too), so unless I port everything to a new rom, I won't be able to add more stuff.
Quote- For goodness sake, that slide move drives me a little mad. It's so sensitive that the slightest movement can trigger it. Personally if it were more like Kirby's slide move, it would be more tolerable (having to press down, then pressing X or Y to have a sort of slide-kick thing). Still haven't died from it, but eventually it's going to screw me over quite a bit.
Worth mentioning that you can enter pipes even while sliding. I've seen your first ep. of the let's play: you don't need to stop and crouch to see if a pipe is enterable. But again, I can understand why you're having difficulties with this. Eventually you'll get used to it.
QuoteSillier Bridge was a really fun level. Where is its remix from? It's really catchy.
This one. I'm also glad you like that level. Its gimmick is very questionable due to the cutoffs, but I'm happy it ended up being fun.
QuoteWhat exactly do I
do in the "DIE HERE" level? Getting to the end just sends me back to the start, and going to where the hidden pipe was just brings me to an unopenable door. I tried to be clever and die because the level told me so, which is actually possible if you spin jump underneath these blocks:

The level is a distorted version of the original one. You've seen that going for the normal exit triggers nothing. You know that this level also has a secret exit, isn't it? ;)
Obviously, there's a little twist to open the door, but with enough exploration of that level, you should be able to get something "unusual" which you can grab and use for the door to unlock.
Thank you everyone for every post of feedback and all the kind words. I hope you had a great time with it; I sure did while building it!
