Request name: Randomized Item
Type: Sprite
Description: A sprite that changes into either a Mushroom, Fire Flower, Cape Feather or a 1UP upon entering the level. I feel something like this would be really good for bonus games/bonus rooms.
Don't eat the sandwich
No overworld patch sa-1 compatible.
I have tried unsuccessfully at least 5 times to convert this patch to sa-1.
It would be super useful for my next project as it doesn't require an over world.
Name: Better SMB3 Rocky Wrench

Type: sprite (extended sprite)

Description: Unlike Koyuki's Rocky Wrench with acts like a piranha plant throwing dry bones bones or Chuck’s baseball and dies in a puff of smoke, this one throws an actual wrench (custom extended sprite). When Mario stands on top of the sprites before it rises up, it acts like a little platform or a rideable enemy (mega mole or shy guy). When Mario jumps on the sprite after it rises, is falls and dies. Seen in airship and tank levels. When the extra bit is set, the Rocky will show up again after it dies. Make it work with PIXI (Add SA-1).
Request name: Energy meter
Type: Patch
Long description: This will be similar to the air meter that slowly drains when Mario is in water. But, this will be for terrestrial levels. When the player is holding the down button ONLY, he will gain energy. In all other cases (including when no buttons are pressed), he loses energy. When Mario runs out of energy, he dies.

The rate of gain and the rate of loss should both be customizable. The maximum amount of energy Mario can store should also be customizable.

Request Name: Wall-climbing move for Mario
Type: Patch
Short description: A Patch that will let Mario wallclimb.
Long description: Wall climbing move, similar to wall running with a Wall Triangle present, just without the triangle and without the need to run into a wall. Should work by just walking into a wall, also you should be able to start wall climbing in midair too.
Rescinding my Pipe Sprite request in favor of a different one.

Request name: OW Sprite Disassembly
Type: Sprite pack
Short description: Disassembly of the overworld sprites.
Resources: Uses ordinary GFX already in the game.
Long description: A disassembly of the original overworld sprites. As they are now, the OW sprites are rather limited when it comes to where they can be placed. If a disassembly existed, then they could be inserted as custom sprites and be placed in submaps where the originals normally couldn't be.

EDIT: Alternatively, it could be a patch to redirect which submaps the OW sprites are hardcoded to work in.
Name: Mario stays invincible while entering pipe or door

Type: patch

Description: When Mario gets the super star, he gets invincible. When Mario is entering pipes or doors while he is invincible, he still has his invincibility on like in SMB3 or NSMB. Unlike SMW's, Mario's invincibility disappears after entering pipes or doors.

I'm working on it. Looks like it involves a bunch of NOPs at $00A635.

Here it already is... And yes it is sa-1 compatible.. no conversion is needed for a NOP

That's actually a neat idea, so I ended up making it, for UberASM at least. Not sure how well it'd work as an actual patch (sprite is probably out since this could spawn at any time), so may submit it just as-is.

Description: This patch will allow the koopa-troopa or buzzy beetle shell on block stair to add a trick giving Mario 1ups while jumping on the shell like in SMB1 or NSMB. There are no bugs in this shell trick, just Add SA-1.

Short description: a simple way to change how many DC are in expected in levels.
Long description: I've installed the over-world counter patch that marks a stage once the Dc are all collected. however, I only want one dc in each stage but it doesn't make as collected on the over-world. It would be nice to have one patch that could add the ow map marker
(like owcount.asm), save the dc collected at checkpoint (like dcsave.asm) and also change the expected dc number. any other options that affect the dc would be nice also.
