I've played quite a bit of Zelda games (I've only beaten 2) And I have a bit of favorite Zelda games. The reason Breath Of Wild isn't allowed since everybody would say Breath Of The Wild.
Mine are:
-Wind Waker (GameCube version)

-A Link To The Past

-Ocarina Of Time

fuck the rules

Breath of the Wild turned into my favorite Zelda only because it's the least Zelda a Zelda has been in a while. I was getting tired of the formula and this game switching things up made things feel fresh again.

Before BoTW I'd just say Ocarina of Time.
Link to the Past, followed by Link's Awakening.

OoT sucks. It was so-so back in the day and hasn't aged well. Its dark atmosphere and THREE-DEE GRAPHICS caught the attention of a lot of impressionable teens, is all. Also from a modern perspective Zelda comes off as hella racist at the start of the game.

A Link to the Past still remains to be my absolute favorite Zelda game, and overall one of my favorite games period. The graphics are great (especially for an early SNES title), the design still manages to be top notch, and it's just a blast to play. In fifth grade, I would remember waking up at 6 in the morning before school just to play it. Great times.

Another one I really enjoy is A Link Between Worlds. They managed to use the painting gimmick of the game to it's fullest potential here. It's design is just so clever and chock full of secrets that it's so fun to play. To be honest, if it wasn't for the memories I have with ALTTP, this would be without a doubt my favorite.

Breath of the Wild is great for it's emphasis on exploration and a more atmospheric world. It's very relaxing for me to just wander around and explore the vast and expansive world. Very fun.
yes, i did see the title of thread, and no, i don't care.
Is "all of them" a valid answer? No?
Well, in that case...

2D:
-A Link to the Past
-Link's Awakening
-Oracle of Ages
-Oracle of Seasons
-The Minish Cap

3D:
-Breath of the Wild
-Skyward Sword
-Majora's Mask

The remaining 3D games I all find "okayish", but am not super passionate for them. I also really loved Spirit Tracks when it was first released (despite people generally not liking it very much, there was a lot of good in it), though I think nowdays I'd have hard time getting used to the controls again.
Feel free to visit my website/blog - it's updated rarely, but it looks pretty cool!
Breath of the wild as its the only Zelda I have played I really love how big the world is.
It offers a lot of variety in terms of how you tackle obstacles and enemies.
Ocarina of time

IS THAT YOUR FINAL ANSWER?
Breath Of The Wild
I never played Breath Of The Wild, so... I didn't actually played a lot of zelda games, only one I ever played is Link to the past. It's good? I dunno, I didn't played it a lot.

1. A Link to the Past
2. The Wind Waker
3. Skyward Sword
4. A Link Between Worlds
5. Twilight Princess

Speaking of forbidden things, I've been playing Breath of the Wild on an emulator and my god it has to be one of the most beautiful games I've ever played.

Nah, JK lol. About my actual favorite Zelda games, well, I havent played them much, but Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword were really great to play. I also played Spirit Tracks for a VERY short bit before giving up on it (I was a kid btw) tho, and ever since Arbiter's Grounds scarred me for no reason other than I was a 11 year old kid, I havent played TP ever since. Maybe I should play it again sometime, just so I can finally be able to stop with this pointless trauma. LOL

Twilight Princess.

Its the only zelda game I've ever bothered to fully play through and finish.
Not that I don't like the games themselves... I just begin to lose interest as I progress through them.
The original and Link's Awakening

LttP and OoT are overrated imo (of the FF7 vs. OoT fandom war, I'd stick to FF7 no questions asked lol)

BotW looks like something I'd get into tho

"I had a bad dream! It must be that scary black man from the neighboring country of desert people!"

She's like, 10 years old, so her quick jump to conclusions, serious accusations, and failure to talk to any adults about it are more or less excusable. Still, if you saw anyone in real life do that to the only person of obviously different ethnicity around, 10 years old or not, you'd probably sit them down to a nice talk about diversity.
I'm bored so I'll do a top 5:

1. Breath of the Wild
2. The Wind Waker
3. Majora's Mask
4. Twilight Princess
5. Ocarina of Time

I haven't gotten to play through the other Zelda games yet. A Link to the Past was my first Zelda game, but I always found it boring. Its been 10 years since I last played it, so maybe I should give it another chance.
I'll make a layout eventually...

3D: Majora's Mask

I've actually played a lot of TLoZ games, but my favorite game of the series would actually be "Majora's Mask", the only game where "The Hero of Time" actually does lots of actions involving time-traveling (At least, much more than OoT).
The original LOZ
