This might sound like a dumb question, but what are left and right supposed to represent in this diagram?Formerly known as nick 139 My YouTube channel
up = vanilla-er
down = chocolate-er
left = more about creativity?
right = less about creativity?
Or everything's just arbitrary. Who knows? That's how politics is.
I think CLDC focuses more on creativity than KLDC, which is more design/difficulty based IMO.
I just find it weird how the diagram uses the labels "left" and "right". All I can infer from them is the direction in which the panels are in.Formerly known as nick 139 My YouTube channel
authoritarian = strict governance = more rules, so more vanilla
libertarian = less laws = do whatever you want with your level
left = american liberalism = freedom to design in unusual, wacky ways
right = american conservative = preferance for traditional level design
It doesn't exactly work because CLDC can also be very creative. OLDC is really the only contest that is "conservative". Also, I suck at memes LOL
