You know, for some reason this hack makes me think of some levels on Super Paper Mario. Nice job. Looks good.

Well I forgot to make the Koopa Kid battles harder by using Lemetaal, and change their graphics. Sorry you guys had to go through yet another uncreative and easy boss battle. Anyways, please post every single glitch/bug/error/whatever so I can fix it up and start working on demo 2.
The overworld glitched. Are you going to change it for the final version? If you're leaving the overworld the same, keep it from glitching, and please use different level names.
Yep, I will fix the overworld and name the levels, but I will not redesign it. I will however make it more tetris themed.
I found a glitch: In Iggy's castle, the message block before the boss battle doesn't have any text in it, it just disappears.

The level design was meh. Most of the levels were short, and had way too many powerups. Why would you need a powerup right before the level? There were a few instances where there were Dragon Coins on subscreen boundaries too. Also, many of the levels themes were exactly the same too. (Yoshis Island 4 is still a layer 3 tides level, Donut Secret 2 is still an ice cave)

I know you've said that you wouldn't modify the OW yet, but couldn't you have at least changed level names and boss sequence messages? It was pretty annoying to see the same old Donut Plains 2, Yoshi's Island 3.

Also, I was hoping to hear a Tetris theme for the title screen! That would have been great, and custom music will greatly benfit this hack.

Also, try to stay away from Super ______ World titles. How's about this: "Super Mario: Tetrad Takeover"

So, this hack gets a 6/10, for the great concept, but not so great execution.

And IMO I'd rather leave the ? blocks the same.

I have also heard that a lot of people have trouble telling what enemies are which. What should I do about that? Add a message box saying that enemies with spikes on top or enemies that look like spike balls will hurt you when jumped on?
The main problem for me was the koopas, there were just rectangles. : /
Alright I am currently working on fixing the 1 world demo. Here's what I got so far.

-Overworld more Tetris-themed.
-Check all yoshi coins. DONE
-Make levels a bit longer.
-Get rid of some powerups. DONE

-Do something about the koopas. DONE

I would love more suggestions.
Alright so I figured out how to insert custom music! And I changed the name to Super Mario: Tetris Takeover. Im planning on submitting a fixed up demo 1 soon, complete with custom music, finished title screen, fixed event glitches, longer levels and other bugs/problems fixed.

Not every level will have custom music though since I still like the original music.
Will one part of the custom music be the famous Tetris theme?
I am not a hacker by trade, I am an observer and I can be very observant. I tend to lurk around here to prolong the good experience of playing the original SMW. Whatever can add onto it is something that I will definitely do when I am bored which is often. And I will rarely post and give praise when needed to the hacks that may make me interested to relive memories.

My worst enemy in Mario isn't Bowser but my controller that keeps on getting disconnected from the inside. Might be my memory count.
Yes, because its already with addmusic. (If its not there I'll eat my toes.) I'd set it to the title screen. :P

Here's an Idea for the title screen: Make it a vertical level (Can you do this with the Demo?) with Layer 2. Put Tetris blocks on Layer 2 and have the Layer 2 falls sprite so its like Tetris!

That reminds me of some levels from YI. Good idea, though.
Oh boy, transfering everything is a pain! I want to get some custom music in but it will only work if I start over, add the music in and transfer all the levels/ExGFX back in and crap.

EDIT: I finished transfering everything, It was easier than I thought. Everything is fine (Even the custom music!) but I have to redo the message boxes, the secondary entrances and the title screen.

EDIT 2: I just realized, Its weird that this hack isnt going to have any squigs...
