I don't think I can say much beyond what was already said, but watching your video of my level raises some serious questions considering you had almost no trouble with the level whatsoever, basically only getting hit in clumsy ways (jumping directly into a lava pit??) and getting a lot of the setups first try (and savescumming like hell for no reason in completely non deadly places) and then you call it a 'play-with-savestates tier level in the most tedious way'? I'm confused.

In lots of places I purely got lucky, many of setups are either you get it first try or die, sometimes theres are zero time to even think about what Im supposed to do, just trial&error. I use save&states mostly (this applies to many other levels too) to avoid having to redo areas I have already done billion times, not save-scumming would have made the level playthrough way too long and boring to watch.

watch the video.

If you are too lazy to at least give me a bone, I will be too lazy to sift through 4 hours and 36 minutes of video with no timestamps. If you don't want to review it, that's fine. You are under no obligation to. You should at least be transparent about it.

Qué, cera, cera.

This jump here, I guess Im supposed to do mid-air spiny jump here, but why such demanding jump in the beginning when the rest of the level looks easy?

As for the video being overly long, I'll just make it into parts(5-10 levels in each depending how long the result ends), although Im not sure when Im gonna upload 'em since Im stuck on laptop and 3g internet next week until weekend.

Ahhh, that one. You don't need to do a mid-air spin jump, though you can if you wish to. You can either:
1) wait for the top spiny to fall, then do a dash jump up
2) wait for Pipe Latiku to toss a spiny down and spin jump off that to get up

Neither are frame/pixel-perfect, but the dash jump is definitely harder to pull off. In situations like this, I tried to make sure there were two ways available so the player has something to fall back on.

The Pipe Latiku will toss the spiny here:
Pretty sure I uploaded my level before Master Lakitu uploaded his. Please review mine. It's Broken Bridge Way.

First off, it has nothing to do with my level. Why should I give a low-effort thread an elaborate response? Sorry I bothered at least trying to entertain myself (not really, though).

Also yeah, if you want this to be taken seriously at all at least give timestamps to the levels in the video, because I guarantee no one is going to bother to wade through it otherwise.

just no, I'd rather play through shitty wannabe-kaizo level than this shit(no offence intended, the level is just not my cup of tea)

So what you want to say here is simply "Kaizo isn't my taste, and your level is as hard as a kaizo level, so I'm not gonna judge this", right?
Sorry for the delay, I've been sick all week so I was unable to finish timestamping the invindual parts and play more levels, but I'll start working on it again today/tommorrow as Im feeling a lot better now.

Being worked on now, but got delayed. They are now in individual parts(12 in total, five levels or more in 30minutes each) and has timestamps in description(only upto part5 done atm)

Only thing I ment was that I just didn't like the level enough to finish it, it was glitch level that didn't bother explaining its gimmick and I had no idea how to progress so I quit. Even those not-so-great kaizo levels were better in my option. I probably should reword some of the comments, but again, I got sick and I just couldn't do anything for week.

A certain someone told me that the message box is useless and suggest me to remove the message box. I regret removing it now... #smw{T_T}

As for the glitch, the teleporting will only work if you stay under the spring when you fall down the pit.

If you don't like to play my level, that's okay.

You didn't even get stuck tho? You just played it for about three minutes, died to a rock, and decided to quit and claim that it's a kaizo level. What's more, the spring warp gimmick is super self-explanatory and everyone who tested the level figured it out on their own. (timestamp if anyone wants to see it)

@Superwario: Don't sweat it. The spring glitch is one of the most well-known SMW glitches and your level does a great job at introducing it organically. A message box would be totally redundant.
Ok the doc and first post are edited, all individual parts are now timestamped. There was two videos with identical/repeat levels for whatever reason, I dont know why but parts are now properly numbered.

I didn't realize that the deadline is in week, so there wouldn't be point for me to play rest of the levels(I cant do any videos until weekend, 24th at earliest but recording etc takes whole day and uploading and and other process takes another) since it would be too close to the deadline(few days). I could do just the "reviews" but since nobody liked them I'll pass.

@Superwario1999 at the time I didn't see the green spring thing above the rock throwing chuck, which was the main reason I stopped playing your level, and I was in bad mood which resulted in you know what.

@lazy I only knew the gimmick/glitch from the portal level last VLDC, so not everyone is familiar with it(at least I wasn't aware of it), and in that level the glitch was presented in much clearer/better way. And I never claimed it was kaizo level, just an glitch level with glitch I wasn't aware of.
