A little project that I decided to do yesterday, basically looping every SMW sample that isn't looped.

@29 (yeah I know this one is already looped in smw, but only when there's almost silence and it sounds like shit)

The loops sound kinda clicky in @9 and @12, but it's the best I could make. @15 and @22 also take a little more amount of space than the original non-looped samples but they're made to be used along other SMW samples so that shouldn't be a problem.

I don't really like how that rock guitar turned out, but I can't do better.
I kinda want to know the exact samples you used for the synths here. They sound very similar to the ones in the original, and I just cant think of any samples similar enough that can make this sound. Really, I`m perplexed.

Great job, btw! For the guitar in Identity Believer, yeah, I agree that you should get a better one. Maybe use Plok or MMX guitars? I know those are pretty overused (especially MMX, not so much Plok since that particular guitar is only really used here mostly), but those are arguably the best ones in the SNES`s sample library (with Plok`s guitar having a bonus of being the smallest here), so I do think you should do that tbh.

The problem is that the mmx guitar doesn't sound good in certain octaves and the plok guitar is for high octaves only (I'm using two samples in my port).

Also I used normal square waves and adventure island 2's synth strings/saw with some $EE and vibrato trickery.

Well, I mean, you can always change the octaves to better suit the port. That`s what I always do with my ports anyway. Unless there seems to be a problem with that for some reason (never was too big on MML), but other than that I dont see why that isnt a option. lol

Yeah but I like my ports to be accurate, that's why I always try to not change important things like octaves, they are an important part of the feel that the song gives.
