Super Mario Q [Team Cornersoft]

@davidholanda30, thank you.

Small update. I am revamping one of the levels, so I am just gonna show it off here. This might surprise some of you, as I have once stated that I would not use that level, well that was a lie, as Pablo and I have decided to instead add it back to the hack, making it have a delicious 9 levels now.

Anyways, here's a screenie from Sketchup:

I am glad you are still on the ride as well. ^^

And it was indeed a WIP image. Here is how it looks right now:

Very glad to see that your project is back, Blackstone187!
Also, It looks like you came back with a better level design than before, and I Loved those mountains. Good luck with your project.
@Quote, Thank you very much.

Update: Boats and ghosts!

So... welcome back, you! And so is Sun-shiny Mario 64!
SUPER CRASH TIME YEAH!
Nothing significant happened in 4 months, but I made this sticker, so that's something.

I lied. I made a new logo! And I got rid of the sub title. So, sorry to those who had an emotional bond with the name.

Oh look, low res versions of the levels. What could this possibly mean?

EDIT: Well not for the title screen because it didn't work. So I need to find a different use for the model.

I have a slight problem with the shader, as for some reason it's not inverted like it normaly should be, so idk how to fix this. Otherwise, this will be the title screen.

Yeah that logo rocks! Just take my advice and try to cut the image into a larger number of 32x textures, so that it becomes higher res.

Try cutting it into as many textures as you can until it starts glitching the game, or until you like how it looks. If you use Kaze's tools, you shouldn't have any major problems.

Thanks! And, I already did that actually. But because I am no expert and I am not very good at apointing textures to 3D models, I have little choice but to stick to the amount of textures I currently use. I might make the title screen in 3D by tracing the textures, so it is a bit sharper, but other than that, there's no easy way around it.

Screenie time!

This is a nice level I've been working on. It also comes with a model train inside this strange box. The level has references hidden throughout, so keep an eye out when you play the demo.

Speaking of which: I am working on a demo for everyone to try out. ^^

Hype

Good freakin' awesome!

That logo tho #smw{^_^}
SUPER CRASH TIME YEAH!

Thanks! I am glad you like it!

UPDATE:

Look at this 2D hub I made for the demo. o:

It has a nice Mario Sunshine feel when I see the pipe and palm trees, in fact, it does look like it is.

Man it looks soooooo nice!! :O But please could you put those low-res models just a bit further away? They look too close to the shore (thanks water texture!), and kinda spoil the illusion that they're small because they're far.

Or you know, just make them bigger. As long as it's low-res, I don't think the size really matters here.

Thank you! ^^
Yeah I did that, In fact, I will update on the water shortly.

That is the intention, thank you, I tried to do my best to make it look like that, oh, and the pipe is modeled after the sunshine one. c:

Since kaze's objects only display correctly with jabo's graphics plugin, I had to solve a few water rendering issues, so now SM8MB will have its own kind of water system! Using two layers of scrolling textures at different transparancy levels, you'll get this result. And it looks much better than the default water, wontcha say?

I really like the Sunshine references, i was hoping for an Mario Sunshine sequel. The water looks beautiful and it fits perfect with the enviroviment.

So much hype for this.

You pretty much summed up my intentions. Although it doesn't do much with the story or the people of Sunshine, it does share common traits and general theming. At least, as far as aesthetics go.

Look, new file select and GUI elements. :ooo

Look at these cute little boops. :v

Nah, that's just their hairdo. c:
