My VLDCX level (Thwimp Spiny's Trees)

Main level LM image, and the complete level added.

Well, my level is based on avoiding spinys and jumping on growing pipes.

Practically no big modifications of tiles and palletes, so much that I avoided to the maximum use Exgfx.
I was focused on the design only, and I think commom palletes and background were perfect on my level.

Because my goal is to create a nostalgic level with fun design that I think would fit nicely in the original SMW.
And that I also want to present just something simple and good, nothing more, in my first participation of the event.

Looking good so far! Very SMW-like, which is a good thing considering that's what you're going for. Nothing mind-blowing, but it seems to have some solid design and clean aesthetics, which I'm a fan of personally.
Pretty much it looks a revamped Forest of the Illusion level. Not sure, but I think you could add other elements to the level, instead of relying just on lakitu, spiny and wigglers. It's always good to bring up innovation. The same applies for the palette, graphics structure, etc. But it's up to you if you really want just to make a nostalgic level. You yet have lot of time to polish your level.

I have a lot of time to polish the level, but maybe I make minor changes to the background only. About variations of enemies, I made a video showing the level. I tried to leave the positioning of enemies well balanced. Thanks for the comment.
