Hmm... 5 minutes of work. :/ Due to palette and space issues, I couldn't intend the light-effect aswell. Anyways, comments? Feedback?

It's from DK King of Swing, right? I remember the stone structure from my rip. I like it. It's perfect for underwater ruins.

Almost empty, but still good. Reminds me of my Lipsyncher BG rip.
Well, here's what I have:

YI Tower/fort final FG:
YI tower palette 1:

There's shadow at the top. Like in YI. And shadow on the walls.

That mechanism had shyguys, but they are sprites, so I put it without them. Also the 3 basic blocks seen in YI.

Insert the YI Sky FG special version tiles to have pipes, sideways pipes, etc. And beta tiles right below Mario.

YI Beta tiles at the top. And legdes for wall.

Windows are ripped and I added very steep slopes for wall.

Normal steep slopes aren't missing. The spikes come from the YI Sky FG special version GFX.

That yellow rubber ground found in some YI forts and fortresses. You should use custom blocks for them. And brown platform is present.

ExAnimated lava and brown solid platforms. Those hot bubbles are animated, too.

ExAnimated Lava found in fromt of wall. And the heated tiles found below and near lava are ExAnimated.

YI animated water. Water has layer priority.

Water that's behind some solid tiles. They have layer priority.

Now to show the second palette:

Check this or next post for link.

Eh. Just... Eh.

Not bad. Are those rocks supposed to be ruins of some sort? I notice one sitting in the path.

AS IF I KNOW WHAT TO PUT HERE.

Since 2006

Just a screenshot from my hack. Its like a "Sacred Cave" where is placed a "Parallel Fortress".

The Super Mario: Universos Paralelos DEMO is coming soon. :)

P.D. The palette of the "Blue Block" in the top-right screen is not a mistake. Its blue because I painted like that.

Thanks.
Mega Mario:
On that blue block... you might want to change the white outline to something more visible so it's obviously not a pallet mistake.

Looks awesome, though. Is that a real Pando sprite in the air? Those guys always creeped me out in SMB2. In a good way.
Oh my god, I'm a booster. o_o

From "Go Go Ackman" for the SNES.

From "Go Go Ackman 2" for the SNES.

They'll be soon in the ExGFX section. Comments? Feedback?
Edit: I know that the tiling at the bottom of the forest background isn't that correct because in the original game, it ended at a certain part so I had to extemporize. :P But if you stare at it for a while, it will look right. ^-^
Wow, that's just awesome, HyperBuu! I couldn't do anything that that......yet.

Yay for very very simple first bg rips!

From Tin Star for SNES.

Just to tell you how simple it is, it only uses a half of a exgfx file. XD

I dunno if I'll submit it, it was mainly for practice.
Actually, I like that pallet... I wouldn't use it in a lot of levels, but every once in a while it should be fine.
That's the exact colors they are in the game, so I keep them the same, but if you ever downloaded it, you could dampen the colors yourself.

Oh good that desert BG looks awesome fo my last levels (Desert)
You deserve cookies!
I attempted myself at the OW again and this turned out:

That part is on the top-left of the main map, let's say the main-last part of the game. The clocktower was made by Frag_Fandango, tweaked a bit by me.
Comments and feedback please. :D
the platform of the pipe is a bit too square-ish, but other then that it's quite nice.
The top and bottom of the sea cliffs should be proportioned better, HyperBuu. Other than that, not bad.

Mario's Nightmare Thread
I proudly present, the First Video of my Hack. This video showcases the first level of my hack, Bellingham Prison!
<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/kOIao_up3rs&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/kOIao_up3rs&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
I'd like some feedback, since I had a lot of trouble uploading this video. >_<
First of all, SEND ME THAT SONG!!!!

On to business. I liked the level, but I think that the on gfx for the on/off block should have stayed the same. And try to make it so the enemys don't fall through the cracks in the ground. I look forward to playing this hack.

(Seriously though, send me that song. It's awesome.)
