MaxodeX's tiny pack of music ports + a few other stuff

Hi, I wasn't really planning on posting something this C3 but oh well. :P It's not gonna be some huge pack like back in 2013,but I have a few other things to show so might as well do it.

As always, it's a random list of random ports. Only 5, sorry!
  • Custom - Stellar
A tiny song I composed once for fun, and ultimately ported for Idol 7 :P It's quite lame compared to the original, though, so I should probably post the original MP3, or simply make a better port since I no longer have to deal with the idol restrictions.
  • Kero Blaster - Check'IN Out
A cute song. Not particularly fond of this one, to be honest, it's pretty rushed and all, but I thought I'd share it nonetheless.
  • MM8 - Frost Man
I did this one on request. Not much else to say about it.
  • Sonic Mania - Studiopolis Zone 1 (8-bit)
If there's enough interest I could make a 16-bit remix for this one.
  • MM&B - Cold Man
Also a bit rushed, but it's alright. :P
  • CUSTOM - Cloudy Beach
Composed this one for a, well, cloudy beach level in a spanish contest.

And here's a list of thingies not found in the ZIP, mostly just compositions or whatever. :P

- CUSTOM - Grass : A simple grassland song I made for the Latino Project collaboration hack. So simple, it took me over a year to finish for some damn reason.
- CUSTOM - Crystal Mine : Another song for the LP collab. Felt there was a lack of music for this kind of levels.
- CUSTOM - Shop : Yet another song for the LP collab. A short tune used for the village shop.
- [MP3] [WIP] Jazzy Thing : Dunno how I'm gonna continue this, but thought I'd share what I have so far anyways.
- [MP3] [WIP] Christmasy Thing : Tried to make this one for a christmas contest... never even participated. :P

That's all, I think. Hope you like it. #tb{'U'}

cool, you released coldman! I really liked that one from Idol.
I'll give the rest a listen later.
i love the stuff here, especially the 8-bit studiopolis and the PL shop tune. i kind of feel like the grass and cloudy beach tunes would be more appropriate for caves and night levels respectively? but the songs themselves are good. this is the kind of stuff i wish i could pump out

What the F!!!!!

Sounds Like a FamiTracker lol

I recommended "Disable The Interpolation" on Options > Interpolation > Disable to Listen on the REAL NES

Tested on (SNES SPC700 Player)

I making too Difficult :(

And I can compose With "NES Non-Interpolated Sample Pack"
"It plays With SNES Interpolation"

Goood Job MaxodeX!!!
Man, you have very good taste. Frost Man. <3 Also I should learn how to do proper bossa with that Shop theme of yours (or maybe I should stop being a lazy arse and get to fix the mixing for my bossa thing lol). I can see Crystal Mine fitting my cave submap perfectly. I hope it gets released someday!

Yes please.
Hmm, I`m getting some mad Crystal Rafflar (MMX Corrupted) vibes in your Crystal Mine composition, especially in the beginning. Was that intentional?

Also, that Frost Man port`s just <3

I dunno about the grass one being for a cave. And about being night, well you're partially right, cuz the level I used it for was actually rainy, so.

Partially; I was listening to a lot of MMX (official) music around that time because I was replaying them. I most likely also had listened to MMX Corrupted music though it wasn't really intentional to draw inspiration from a single song. :P

Fantastic ports dude. Frost Man is SPOT ON.
I second the vote for a 16-bit Studiopolis.
Count me in on both the release of the Cloudy Beach theme and the birth of the 16-bit Studiopolis port.

Thanks for your replies guys. #tb{^V^} I know it wasn't requested as much, but I'm releasing Cloudy Beach anyways because why not. Added to main ZIP. Have fun.

you steal my friends, my wife, my happiness and now my C3 thread? you should feel ashamed.

nice ports tho
That Cold Man port was the shit, though. I'll give it ten outta ten.
This site needs more Megaman and Bass ports honestly. The cold man port sounds awesome, and so does Frost Man btw. I love it when people make spot on PSX ports.
