Puzzle

Kaizo

Please excuse the poor aesthetics. Mario starts small at the red cross. Can you get in the door?

ips file

EDIT: Whoops, I spotted a break. Never fear! There are now 2 difficulties:

Easy: Just enter the door any way you can.

Hard: Enter the door before the (first) p-switch timer runs out.

Good luck!
Didn't expect you to get back to hacking again :O
This puzzle seems really insane to beat. A pity that hacks like these don't appear as often at best.
Windowless ride, feeling alive
Are you alive or just breathing?
Also there's a huge amount of cutoff and flunchers (floating munchers).

Yep
Am I allowed to eat a chuck with yoshi in YI2 first? #tb{TwT}
If not... well at least I reached the shell... I guess.

e: Is the break duplicating the turn block through the whole level or clipping to the door with the springboard? (If that's even possible)
Getting on that springboard isn't even that difficult It's also the only part I beat so it's probably the easiest part lol

The break means it's possible to complete it easier by entering the door after the p-switch timer has run out. I tried to make it so that you had to enter the door before the p-switch timer had finished (which would make it more difficult) but an oversight meant that it's easier (but slower) to just wait for the timer to finish.
woah wait that's a break?
When I saw this puzzle this was actually exactly how I would've done it except for the part where I couldn't get the shell jump into a wall jump lol so I thought that's the intended solution. Which is also why I was confused on why it has anything to do with the p-switch timer except for getting the springboard?

Damn it, nice one. The part where you pressed the p-switch to go past the coin block, it used to be a muncher but I then changed it for a coin block since I was unsure if it would be possible with the muncher there. Since you've almost done the intended solution, here's the intended solution:

Once you've at the p-switch, shell jump with it, walljump onto the ledge with the turn block, while pushing either item through the wall to hit the turn block.

Then drop down, get the coin, and press the p-switch to go past the coin block directly below. Shelljump over the gap, get running speed, jump through the coin, walljump, go to the left and corner clip in to get the springboard. Then you can clip through the ceiling with it to get to the door.

Good job, if you can think of any way to fix this break, I'd appreciate any ideas. I ran into problems trying to force you to
corner clip
so you couldn't just wait for the p-switch timer to run out.

Of course one way would be to just changed that coin block you broke with into a cement block and then add a timer so you can't just wait for the p-switch timer to run out, but that seems too artificial for my liking.

Blue square: make it a cement block or maybe a muncher, if it's possible to avoid it.

Red square: a brown block, so it would be impossible to wait and get the springboard.

But wouldn't that solution get completely rid of the corner clip?
Also couldn't you just move the cloud, coins and bronwn blocks one to the right and put a mumcher where the brown block was?

I don't think so, remember that you have to press the p-switch to get into that area on the right, so what appears as a coin is a brown block, unless I'm missing something.

That was the original idea, but I don't think there's enough space to hit the corner clip. I could move the wall to the right too, but I wanted it all to be inside a 1 square area with fixed camera. I had planned to make a series of puzzles, all contained within a 1 square bonus room.
Oh yeah no I was misunderstanding something nevermind

Better? Might make some more when I get inspired :)
This definitely looks cool, and from watching Amaraticando's video, the few parts that I can understand are clever.
