Computer problems

Well my laptop isn't powering on or charging so I probably have to turn it into the shop. The last time something was this hard for me to turn on it was my unfortunately imaginary girlfriend.

I have all my hacks and video projects and homework assignments stored on it so call me screwed.

Have you guys ever had computer troubles?
Yes, tech is my disgrace

For the past few months I've occasionally been having problems with my keyboard. My caps lock, F1, 2, w, s, x and \ would just stop working. The worst part is that sometimes it was during me playing hacks (the s is my R and the x is my Y button). Yesterday I found that pressing Shift+Shift+Ctrl+Ctrl+Alt+AltGr magically fixes it, so that's pretty good.

I also have a million problems with my phone, like it thinking headphones are always connected, so I'm not able to talk or hear in calls without uhh, speaker mode (what's it called?)
It's easily the best thing I've done
So why the empty numb?

You can't own a computer and avoid them indefinitely.

-Overheating laptop
-Laptop being unable to charge
-Adware
-Issues with internet connectivity
-Back in the day, too many problems with the slow school computers, from internet browsers throwing up 'this page cannot be displayed' to not even being able to reliably use thumb drives
-The first time I tried building a computer (for a final exam) it wouldn't power on
-When I was using one of the old Mac versions, YouTube suddenly started making Safari crash

LOL OKAY SO

my parents bought me an acer desktop, it was about the same size as an xbox 360 (I checked), but more importantly the graphics card could play games made after 2002, so it was perfect. I installed Just Cause 2 and got playing.
TWO DAYS AND 10 IN-GAME HOURS LATER. the fucking thing overheated and wouldn't turn back on. It just bricked on me. Fortunately we had a warranty so we swapped it with a working computer, and for the next 2 or 3 years I had to press my fan up against my computer whenever I went to play a game.

I also bought an ipod classic and that bricked on me. I fixed it by changing it's letter extension and then changing it back, but then it bricked again and I got a new one.

Finally, my internet connection is slower when I'm directly connected to the router than if I use wifi, even though my computer is right next to the router (like, they're touching). When i connect them with a cable the internet either stops working altogether or chugs along at a snail's pace.
ask me if i give a f*ck...
Lmfao overheating laptops are the worst. It's hard to keep them cool when they're so thin
Aside all these problems mentioned before (except that I don't have a laptop, but a desktop), last time I tried to clean up my old pc, I couldn't boot it up. Lucky it was just a ram memory card that wasn't placed right (just push it down) to make it work.

I almost bricked up my galaxy 5 (one of the oldest android phones) trying to intall nightly custom roms on it (last one was with android kitkat). Glad that it worked on that time, but my mom's dropped it into the toilet...rip.
Bye.

loudspeaker?

My laptop's down arrow just broke recently, so I won't be able to play games that requires that without some alternative to it. My laptop also overheated to the point where it'd suddenly turn off, but luckily, it still goes fine after that.

My phone's problems are the worst because I can't figure out why it acts strange sometimes, such as why updating apps "eats more storage" (turns out that any update that I made saved to phone storage, not SD card).
... what games even need the down arrow?
I can't think of a game I've played in the past like 3 years that used the arrow keys, and even then you very likely could remap it to WASD or IJKL.

Meh.
Too many to list.

Too: Have a back up disk or USB that has all of your important stuff on it. Heck, everything I have on SMW hacking and some other things is on at least 2 USBs and a disk.

One reason I decided I was fed up with having a laptop.

I guess you've never been part of the Undertale bandwagon?

No problems, usually I just break something OS-related and get a new PC.
Yes, a lot. I've had countless BSODs throughout the years to the point of my computer finally refusing to load (and I lost a lot of hacks in the process).

I have issues with internet connectivity every now and then, which is super annoying - speaking of such, my phone also automatically makes it so it has no internet signal when it's supposed to have (more specifically, when the router is turned on). I have to disable and enable wi-fi to solve it everytime.

There's also that one time when I accidentally threw water into my old computer's keyboard...
