Actually this should apply to everyone from now on. Come on guys, this is basic politeness.

In other news I updated the list in the first post.

MaxodeX messaged me with the port via PM as well and I thanked him then. Sorry I didn't make that public, I really do appreciate people taking time to do stuff for me.

@MaxodeX: Thanks again by the way.
Well, I dont know if there`s anyone who can help me with this or if I can even post this here, but here`s my request: could anyone transcribe a MIDI file for this song? Here it is:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K-UuoIUVBEM

Btw, yes, I know there is a MIDI of that song already in VGMusic, but not only does the MIDI not work properly with SNESGSS (it doesnt translate the MIDI well sometimes, so at best its pretty accurate with just a few notes wrong (probably because of chords in the song), while at worst, its just a complete mess overall), the MIDI is also not fully accurate, so it would probably sound crap if I use PetiteMM too (maybe I could just edit everything in the MIDI to sound more like the original, but that would take way too much time, so I dont know). Here is the MIDI, btw:

http://www.vgmusic.com/new-files/mm10_specialstage1_v1_1.mid

So yeah, basically, here`s my request. I dont know if there is anyone who knows about MIDI transcribing here, but if you could help me with this, then I`ll be forever grateful.

Also, this was originally a regular thread, but since I didnt know that I could request MIDIs here, I angered a mod and my thread is in the trash can now. Sorry for not commenting in the regular format, btw, but I dont know if this request can be done in the regular format or not. If I can do that, though, then I`ll just put another request with the format and delete this one.

Also, what about SFX requests? Someone asked that, but it wasn't answered.
Sorry for the double post.
Since i have never played Super Mario Sunshine, i did not know that my request from a music from SM64DS was a remix of "Super Mario Sunshine - Delfino Plaza", already in the musics section.
I just need to add samples to it, and there you go.
Hoping it's that easy. #tb{XD}

However, i will leave the request there in case someone really wants the SM64DS version with these samples.
Updating my request since I've found a MIDI file to provide.

I'd like to say that I haven't murdered someone, but I have. I've killed someone with a rusty lamp post, I killed their dog by using a giant nuclear device that I somehow survived despite detonating it on myself, and I also killed my sanity. Life's good, let me tell you.
Just a heads-up, bro:

Sorry, I don't really read rules that often when doing stuff like this.

Track Name: Never Let Up/Boss Battle (Mario & Luigi Dream Team)
Port or composition: Port
Porting references: SPC Original Song
Sampled or unsampled: Any

This may also help, since it's an approximation of what the theme might sound like in Super Mario World:

SMW Remix of Never Let Up
For gaming news and Wario discussions, check out Gaming Reinvented and Wario Forums respectively.

As for Mario's Nightmare Quest? Well, it's currently on Fusion Gameworks, ROM Hacking.net or the GCN at the moment.
Track Name: Super Cat Planet - Canyon
YouTube Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7qiJ2mmt12Y
Port/Composition: Any, but it would probably be hard to port a .ogg file into SMW.
Sampled: No.
There's water in the sky, Mario! And there's blocks, everywhere! YOSHI COINS!
I would like to know if there is any way to replicate this. It does not necesarily need to be the whole song, but it should at least loop.

Thank you.
Hey guys, this isn't a music request, just a question to help me do things myself.

I was just wondering if anyone would provide me with the knowledge of how to extract score date (preferably as MIDI) and sound sample data (preferably as WAV or BRR), how to make BRR samples and insert BRR samples. I'm already familiar with making, transcoding, compressing and inserting music from MIDI into a SMW hack; I have never dabbled with sampling.

I'm looking to extract score and sample data from SNES ROMs, but also NES, N64, Genesis, Master System, GBA, GB, pretty much anything you know how to extract music from.

Well, I may not really be the best guy to help you with most of what you said, but if you want to extract BRR samples in other SNES games, use this:

https://www.smwcentral.net/?p=viewthread&t=62059

Instruments outside of the SNES, though, ripping from soundfonts and searching for these instruments is probably the best idea, but I dont know how to convert them to BRR, so you`ll have to ask someone else.

Hey, thanks! I can learn more about making BRRs later, this tool seems great.

I have to wonder why there are so few BRR samples submissions, because this tool seems efficient. I'll test it out soon.
