Does SketchUp 2016 Work Well for SM64 Level Design?

First of all, I know that SketchUp 8 Pro is the best and ideal version for making levels.

My question is, how reliable is SketchUp 2016 Pro? I say that
because 14 and 15 versions had problems with obj exporter.

Even though I should use SketchUp 8, I would love to keep up to
date with the latest version of SketchUp(Newer features, more
updated drawing tutorials, etc.)

I use Sketchup 2014 and that hasn't really failed me. I think 2016 is fine although I haven't exactly used that version. Try it though and see how it works.

Sketchup 2016 works fine for level modeling, I use it myself ^^
You'll have to get used to the changed interface, but there haven't been too many problems i've experienced with it!

Yeah I really like 2016 Sketchup, I'm glad 2016 version works!

I've been thinking about it though, I might just stick with Sketchup 8...

I feel like Sketchup 8 has proven to work well and is a safer option imo(except some bugs lol)
Thanks for the suggestions though. :P
Levels done in Google versions are great, but in Trimble versions seem to be fine...
