Regarding Staff Feedback

Well, here we go.

For the past few months, I've noticed we haven't been getting staff feedback at all. I've always wondered why. Surely somebody from these 1k+ active users had something to say over the past few months.

Yet, there was nothing.

Earlier today one of our members messaged me he left feedback, which made me happy. I mean, finally we got feedback after months, but when I checked, there was absolutely nothing. I feared the worst, and tried the feedback system myself. I submitted something. The page said my feedback has been submitted successfully, but when I checked the list of feedback, nothing was there.

So uh... in short, I don't know from when on, your feedback has basically been going into the void. The latest feedback we got was from 2016-01-27, so go figure how long this slipped past our radar. I don't know who broke it or how, either, but that doesn't matter anymore. I can confirm it's fixed as of now.

As users of this website, you have the right to know about this. I apologize on behalf of the staff team if it seemed like we were ignoring your feedback, and humbly request that if you submitted staff feedback over the past few months, that you should try remembering what your feedback was and re-submit it (edit: of course, if your feedback still applies to this day)

Thank you, and sorry for the (huge) inconvenience.

If you'd like to provide feedback to the staff team or this website in general, please use the link "Provide feedback to the staff" available at the bottom of every page.

RIP all those long feedbacks we wrote in groups and sent over the course of many months.
Your layout has been removed.
Er... good job...?

I never had anything to say about staff, I haven't had any personal gripes, but oh well, at least it's fixed lol

look at the date of the thread
MAGAMon, that thread doesn't necessarily replace the Staff Feedback page because the latter is meant for anonymous suggestions.
Dunno how the existence of a thread can interfere with the staff feedback page, the problem was something else which we took care of, so it doesn't matter anymore.

That's not what I'm saying. They stopped receiving staff feedback the day the thread was created, so it could have been an unintentional mistake.
Very unlikely. Because normal thread creating is not gonna mess with the database and/or code in a way that is gonna break the system... and if it does, it's a faulty system to begin with.

Just blame Kieran, its usually his fault anyways. :V
Layout by LDA during C3.
Actually, It just might be a staff member's fault. Like, a staff member who knows they suck and they feared that anonymous feedback system would cause them trouble so they broke it.
Sounds very dumb yeah but it's undeniably a possibility

It was actually LV, he disabled the feedback system so people wouldn't complain about shitposts in GD. /s

The staff member must *really* suck if he goes to such lengths. :P

Oh my god!!! It all makes sense!!!
Kieran wanted to protect his own reputation because if he gets kicked out the site would fall! That's so nice and thoughtful of him, he broke the staff feedback system for the good of the community #wario{:'(}

but it was useless because if he gets killed, kieran's grandparents will just adopt one of the current admins and thats it

Actually, Kieran has been replaced multiple times. It's a shared account by multiple Kieran clones and one SNN clone.

Is the feedback system still "broken"?

It's not. I make sure to check it every now and then to see if it still works. Thanks for your concern, though.
