I just tested your level and had fun with it.
The concept is great and you developed it as the level goes on.
You also used layer 2 in a really interesting way.
There are a few things I like to point out though.
First of all: Yes the yoshi message will be disabled in the collab, but in your submission it may subtract points if layer 3 still disappears. If you don't use one of the sprites that is affected by the YI submap, just move your level on the main map and you're good to go.
The "moles" would pop out a bit earlier, but maybe it still works out.
Give it a few test runs and decide for yourself.
The first time ninjis spawn out of a horizontal pipe I was hit because I didn't expect it and the chuck spawns the "ninji" so late that there's very little time to react.
It would be nice if there was a section, which shows that ninjis can spawn from a horizontal pipe without the player being in imminent danger. (nice idea though)
Also
this part is increbible difficult to get through if you don't know what's coming next. Maybe decrease the number of ninjis that jump in your face to one.
The celing at
this part got me hit. If you don't need it consider removing it since it's a bit unexpected.
All in all a really cool level. The randomness messed with me a few times, but I think it's still manageable.
