How do I clean a rom?

In my previous post about how I was having difficulties playing ROM hacks on OS X, several people told me that I needed a clean ROM of Super Mario World, and then linked me to this site. Sure enough, Js Rom Clean displayed this message: "This is not a clean Super Mario World ROM. A clean Super Mario World ROM should be either 524288 bytes or 524800 bytes, but this file is 2097664 bytes." Unfortunately though, the website did not link me to a 'Clean' ROM. Does this website offer an option to Clean my Smw ROM? I'm getting very frustrated trying to play Smw ROM hacks on my Mac computer, so any help would be much appreciated. Thanks! #tb{:]}

This tool will attempt to clean an unclean ROM, if possible. If it's not able to, you'll have to search Google for one. We can't link you one from here, though, due to the questionable legality of doing so, which we'd rather just avoid.

Well, I finally got it to work! Thanks, man #tb{:]}

I also checked out your TASing Youtube channel. It was pretty cool, so I subscribed.
