Well, the problem is, that's the only way to make slopes in a structure like that. Are you expecting me to change the slope graphic and put "grass" or whatever it is on the side of the slope tile?
No, because Sednaiur already did it for you.

All right, then. I went ahead and made that change and submitted the level.

The level has been accepted!

Now, all that's left is for Imaynotbehere4long to make the power up filter.

Here's the updated level.

EDIT: Except I can't post the link right now. Dropbox is under maintenance. I'll try again in a few hours.

Can't you just check your PMs, then copy & post the link you sent to Blue Leaf? Theoretically, that would be the same level that got accepted.

Except that no Dropbox links work if Dropbox is under maintenance, period.

But none of it matters because Dropbox is back and here is the level.

Man, that took me way longer than I anticipated (I began a mere hour after your post), but it's done. Both the start and the checkpoint now filter the player to small Mario in only about one second. I tested them extensively with all the combinations I could think of, so I'm sure they're full-proof.

I had to alter the level design a bit to get them to work properly, so you may want to double-check the level and make sure I didn't accidentally screw something up. I tested the level quite a bit, so I don't think I ruined anything, but there may have been a subtle design choice that I unknowingly did away with.

Stuff I forgot to mention: The bridge-building parts are still incredibly tedious, especially the last section where you have to go back and forth at least 15 times doing the same thing over and over. Not only is the only hazard Bulborb generators, but they can easily be blocked by setting a Pikmin down so they can't get past.

Also, confirmation over whether or not my altered version is acceptable would be nice.

Edit: Another thing I forgot to mention: When the player kills the tree bark, it shatters into glass. It shouldn't be too hard to recolor the glass shards (effect-111) to be brown to maintain consistency. Maybe you could even re-sprite them to look more like shards of wood instead of basic triangles?

It wouldn't hurt if it was a bit shorter, but I personally don't think that it's that bad. Placing the pikmins on the generators is a pretty big oversight however. I think it could be prevented if they are projectile generators that shoot the Bulborbs up on the bridge. Although if you have an alternative idea, go ahead.

It's freaking amazing. I don't know how you did it (I'd really like to know #tb{:j}), but it works beautifully. Great job!

Actually, I was referring to placing Pikmin beside the generators; the Pikmin have npcblock=1 by default, so the Bulborbs will bounce off of them.

As for alternate ideas, I kinda want DPBOX to think of something else since it's his(her?) level. In my opinion, the bridge building parts are inherently boring since you're just going back and forth doing the same thing repeatedly; I can't really think of anything besides "remove or replace it."

Also, the power-up filter(s) is/are still really obnoxious. I recommend you make a small area where the player is forced to jump into a Mario change-block, then spinjump onto some jump-through-able blocks (to remove Yoshis and shoes), then enter a door while hitting the "Drop Item" button so that the player is taken to another section as soon as the item drops. Then, have an invisible harmful object that disappears after 0.1 seconds positioned one unit above the door's exit so that Mario will become small if he has a power-up but remain unscathed if he's small.

That entire process should only take about one second in-game if done correctly, and if you're clever, you can hide the process behind foreground images and have a short cut-scene play to mask the filter.
All, right, the level is REALLY* done!

Imaynotbehere4long, I can not BELIEVE you did that! That. Was. SO. AWESOME! I didn't even intend to use the Onions in any practical way in the level! I just wanted them to be scenery! And I don't think those graphics were even in the original sprite sheet where I got the Onion, and...WOW!

And do you know what I did? I made the effect even better. I muted the music during the transitions and made a suitable sound effect play when the Onion started to move (Wart Killed).

Apparently, Imaynotbehere4long removed the warps to Blue Leaf's pipe that takes you back to the beginning of the level. I added it back in.

I also recolored the glass shards that appear when destroying the tree brown. It was a last minute change, so if it's not brown, post.

Well, here it is!

Regarding being able to stop the Bulborb generators on the 15 Pikmin bridge. I'm going to keep it the way it is. Most players may not immediately realize they can block the Bulborbs. And when I tried blocking the Bulborbs, it seemed a bit difficult and risky to get into position and set the Pikmin down. Also, when the second generator appears, you're probably going to be scrolling the screen so far that the Pikmin you used to block the generator will disappear. Basically, if you're able to realize that you can block the generators, well, congratulations, you'll have an easier time getting through the segment. Do you understand what I'm saying?

Also, I'm a "he". You can tell by the color of my user name.

*I haven't really been able to test the level in 2 Player Mode, yet. I have no one to play with! I think the level and power up filter should work fine with 2 players, but I have no way of confirming. Actually, the second player may not be able to go into the Onion, but I don't know.

I liked it better with the music playing as the Onion descends, like it does in the Pikmin games. :/

Oh wow, so I did. Whoops.

Oh, so that's what that is. I always wondered why normal users' names were in different colors.

Play with yourself! That's how I tested it 2-player.

Actually, the second player may not be able to go into the Onion, but I don't know.

However, the second player will be teleported to the filter section when the first player enters the warp.

EDIT: WAIT A MINUTE....

The Pikmin graphics aren't your own?? Whose are they, then? Don't you think it would be a good idea to credit the person who made those graphics?
Are there any updates on this? I sent the level to Blue Leaf about 2 weeks ago and I haven't gotten a reply back yet. Should I send it again?

I want this level to be in! The deadline's coming up soon!

I thought the level was already accepted. Since there weren't any changes to the arrangement of obstacles and the player can still make it to the end, I don't think it would need to be accepted again. If that's not the case, I'd also like confirmation that my 4th update to Password got accepted.

By the way, you said that you didn't make the level's custom graphics, but never said who did. Don't you think it would be a good idea to credit the person who made those graphics?
This level is already accepted, but I've never said so in the thread, so...

This level is accepted!

The level has a nice gimmick with the pikmin. The ghosts when you kill an enemy is really cool, and kudos to Imaynotbehere4long for the power-up filter.
Although it would be nice if you gave credits to the people who made the custom graphics.
I just remembered another question that's been bugging me:

I don't want the player to have a Pikmin and then throw it at an enemy. I want the enemies to hinder the player, so I tried to place the Pikmin after the enemies instead of before.

If the level isn't meant to be centered around killing the enemies, why do you force the player to kill all the enemies in Section 1???? It seems a bit counterproductive to me to have your level force the player to do something you don't want the player to do.
