Splendid, kaze-sempai. It seems extremely useful for newbies! Hope you do more of them later. (And a asm one... still hard trying to learn)

PD: Did you do this b/c of the countless noob threads asking for help? xD

PD2: Your voice is sexy.

See my hack development here!: Super Mario and the missing memories.
HEY THAT'S WHAT I SAID " that voice though sounds... sexy."
What's that sound I hear...

It's the sound of millions of fan girls panties dropping to the floor!

Dat voice.

This sounds really helpful! It will surely help beginners like me get to know things that will help my hack be good.

part 2 - UV mapping is out!

i suggest everyone to look at this, because there is about noone using this and i find it very important. makes your levels look so much smoother and better.
I already know how to make my levels smooth. I just soften the edges and that's it.

You need to do more than that, the levels won't look right without uv mapping.

Examples:
An image without the use of UV Mapping.

The same level as shown above, + UV mapping.

You can clearly see which one looks better.

Nope. I can't see anything between the two.

Look at how the textures at the edges line up ya dingus

Do I need to draw a diagram here?

Look at the textures, they line up perfectly with UV mapping. Without it they look weird.

Thanks! I have been needing something like this.
*honk*

You're doing a blinding job on these. Is it OK if (after you publish a few more of these) I can put the videos in the first page of the "Super Mario 64 tips and tutorials" thread?

Nice!
Wow! Great work making this Kaze! I already knew how to make a custom object like a custom platform. But this goes into even further detail! Could you do your next one about adding replaceable objects to the level importer? Anyway great work! :)
here is part 6
i will probably record a part 0 soon, because i didnt go over emulator settings etc yet.
