My ROM ran in Lunar Magic. I turned it on in ZSNES.

It didnt even register as a ROM was there, just sat at a black screen.

Better idea: Don't use xkas GUI. use a .bat file it's not hard.

Download xkas v06

Extract to folder.

Open notepad and type

xkas pir.asm romname.smc

save as a .bat file. (name.bat)

place that, the patch, and the rom in the xkas folder and double click the .bat

you're set.

also you might want to change the freespace.

I'm planning making a new one that remakes it's gfx so it's stem uses the 8x8 5-up spot instead.

I'd recommend this guide for those who know how to use ExGFX without messing up every other sprite on-screen. If you're relatively new to SMW hacking and want to use the Piranha Plant Sprite, my tutorial might be better suited for you.
The link to the exgfx is broken, someone should re-upload it.
You simple could just copy the piranha plant stem from GFX04 and paste it below the piranha plant with the open mouth.
