Luigi and mysterious Mr. M (Demo released!)

Standard

Yet again, no new replies..Honestly, if this keeps up, I'm just going to put an assortment of levels in a world for people to play, then upload it as a demo, then go on a temporary hiatus or something...
Here's a new Airship (?) level, with revamped Super Mario Maker graphics (Thanks, Valtteri!):

I have a DeviantArt, if you do want to see my art on there. I don't really visit it much now, though.
Here's another update after another period of inactivity. Progress on this hack has been quite slow for a while. I don't even think anybody's really following this thread, but I still am slowly working on it. Another demo has been released. Feel free to beta-test it or play it, and give out some comments here if you want to.
Get it here.
Also, here are some images of the various levels currently in the game.
Clockwork Cacophony:

Pyromatic Blazeatory:

Currently, the flames do nothing and act just like empty air tiles (Tile 25).

Polluted Place:

Please note it's clearly not finished yet.

Unnamed High Sky Level:

Unnamed Ice Caverns Level:

I have a DeviantArt, if you do want to see my art on there. I don't really visit it much now, though.
Do note that I haven't finished all of the levels, but here is some of the stuff that I noticed while playing:

The note block's palette doesn't look very good in my opinion.

Cutoff on the treetops.

What are those black blocks supposed to be?

I don't think there is a point for these blocks to be invisible coin blocks, so I think you should replace with actually visible blocks.

You should probably make it more obvious that the red pipes hurt the player, since otherwise they just look like normal harmless pipes.

Also for some reason these pipes didn't hurt me at all.

More cutoff.

That's all for now. When I actually finish the demo I'll probably come back to report more stuff. I think this hack has potential, so I wouldn't want it to die because of lack of attention.

My hacks: Justice for Mario / Unnamed Kaizo Hack
Well, it's been 2 months since I last updated here, and the Hack has also been updated as well.

Get it here.

For the changelog, Pyromatic Blazeatory has been updated to fix the pipe and cutoff issues, and some new levels have been added, although most of them are quite unfinished. Here are some of them:
"Time's Up", a level themed after Time Man's stage from "Mega Man: Powered Up".
"Poisonous Place", a flooded factory level. (And yes, I'm aware that it's blatantly unfinished.)
"The Terrible Tower", a tower themed level.
"The Revived Airship", a level themed after the Sunken Ghost Ship from the original SMW after it's been repaired. It'll have some original bits as well in the second half.

"The Mario's House", basically the house that the Mario's live in. (Tiles made by damarioman, I only put them into the hack.)
"Credits Castle", although again, it's extremely unfinished, as the credits are barely in it.

And that's that, I think.

Thanks for checking out my hack! And yeah, I know about the note block, again, I'll see what I can do since I haven't finalized their pallet yet.
As I couldn't find find some proper tiles to connect the treetops, they're going to look like that for a while. The black blocks are where the block train moves or stops.
Personally, I do prefer the invisible coin blocks, but I'll see what other people think about it.
Some Red steam comes out some of the deep red pipes, notifying that they hurt you. I'll add a message box about it later, but as hitting one removes Layer 3, it'll be a challenge, and I fixed the pipes and cutoff.

So I decided to give this a try. There's a lot of levels to see, but as of now I just finished playing one called "Allan please remove." it's probably not a finished level, but here's what I have to say about it:

So I start the level and this is what I see. Where am I? Behind the waterfall. Couldn't you at least make it so that the player sees themselves when they start the level?

Strange message box that says nothing. In fact, all the message boxes are like this. Why even place on there when you're not going to make it say anything?...

See that 3-up moon? Yeah, it's fake. Why would you trick the player like that and tease them with rare items?

Is that the flashing "waffle" from Super Mario Bros. 3? Well, it's weird because it kinda glitches out...

Some cutoff here.

What the hell?...

See that block with a bomb on it? I could walk into it from the right, and guess what: It killed me. Please fix this, idk what would even cause this, and idk how to even make the "bomb" explode. I did everything I could until I decided to randomly walk into it.

Overall, I'm sure there are some good levels here, I just need to play them. There's some potential here, but please fix those things I mentioned above in that level.

It's actually more of a collection of test levels for users to see.

Fixed.

Since you entered the level via the test collection, which has no message box text, that's what happened.

Well, it'll be a common theme throughout the game for the player to be tricked with fake 3-up moons, although you do have a point since the game mentions nothing about it. I'll see what I can do.

Yeah, I've got the graphics set up (Tiles 4CE, 4CF, 4DE, 4DF), but the graphics routine of it is messed up. The Firebar also has the same problem. (It has the graphics in tiles 4EC to 4EF and 4FC to 4FF.)

Oh god, I completely forgot about that section of the level! Sorry about that, and yeah, it's blatantly unfinished, but it's fixed, though.

It's supposed to be GreenHammerBro's Bomb Blocks, although for some reason, if GPS has too many blocks in list.txt for me, asar.dll will just crash for some reason, meaning I had to remove the asm bits for the Bomb Blocks. In the meantime, they're removed.

Thanks, and see above.

Well, it's already a new year, and with a late happy new year thing, comes a late update!
During the 2016 Winter's C3, I got inspired to make a Casino themed level with the C3's Casino theme. Here's an unfinished section of it:

(The foreground Graphics were mainly by Gamma V, although I did edit them a bit.)
I also added another section of Pyromatic Blazeatory...

...as well as add a message box saying this:
"- POINT OF ADVICE- Take care not to hit the steaming red pipes. They will hurt as they're quite hot to the touch!"
Time's Up also is also a tiny bit more finished:

And I've been thinking about changing the status bar in the hack. Here's a concept of it, although again, I'm not sure about changing it:

Well, here's a new update. I've made two new (although unfinished) cavern levels:

And I've also worked on the graphics credits a bit:

Oh, and I've also recently asked somebody on YouTube to play Demo V 0.5.
Here's the video if anybody's interested.
