I have a grey background so that I can actually see what I'm creating. I'll change it once the level is complete.
A very risky gimmick I must say. Maybe don't make the BG and the enemies all pitch-black, but an actual different color similar to black.
Judging by the screenshot I must say it looks flat but probably you will change it to get the player used to the gimmick.
Also a spotligt second part would be cool, but that's your call.
I'll try out the spotlight gimmick for a second-part. To make sure my level is consistent with the world, what is World 3's difficulty?
I changed the level a whole bunch.

The second part is a P-Balloon run , but I don't have a lot done with that.
Ok I just tested this. The first part is alright, nice P-Balloon section. But the second part was eeehh, I'm not sure about me losing my time moving around turn blocks. You probably could change it. Some things to note:
-The level is so fucking laggy
-Why gift me two lives at the end of the second section?
I'm undecided between either fix or changethe second part.

I'd go for a change on the second part, since overall I thought it wasn't really enjoyable and didn't really fit with the rest of the level.
The first part was alright but I think it could have featured some more threatning enemies. Also unless I'm blind the level only had 4 Dragon Coins.

Okay, I'll add more enemies to section 1 and I have started redesigning section 2.
Now that's a good challenge. I hope that it turns well!
let me guess, you disappeared yet again and you won't finish this
closing tomorrow, i am tired of waiting and i'm pretty sure some people want to design a level and are being deprived of the opportunity by your irresponsibility.
ok closed, and don't pm saying you're going to drop it (like you did last time)
