[ACCEPTED] 2-9: Abandoned Crypt

All good worlds must end with a castle. Well, clearly, the second world isn't good as it ends with some sort of, well, Abandoned Crypt.
I'm only kidding, there are some amazing levels in World 2.

I can't say I enjoyed it a whole lot. It's full of claustrophobic jumps and ridiculous grinder placements that just bog the level down. Below are just a few.









Notice that a lot of these are the net jumps. To be honest I think this level could be improved a lot if you just made the nets bigger.

The net after the coin drop should probably be solid land too - I died because I didn't expect I needed to be holding up.
First, and foremost, I appreciate you being critical of my level. Though I may disagree, as you'll see later on, I still take this as valid feedback. tl;dr - thanks!

I'll probably adjust the second half, and resubmit. I'm thinking instead of having the same 2x2 square net, I'll probably do other configurations (3x2, 2x4, whatever wild thing my tiny brain can conjure up).

I'd figured I'd just respond to some of your feedback;


Here, you're meant to spin-jump on the grinder and use that to continue onwards. I put that small 1 tile block there to give the player more of a chance if they fail.


The grinders are there to give you something to dodge. You have to time your first jump (as to not run into the vertical bullet bills), then time your second jump whilst making sure you don't get spiked up the ass by one of them.


I've always had my doubts about this section. Maybe just one grinder, or a raised ceiling in the middle [or both, who knows] may help.

I was contemplating putting a platform there. I thought the player would have enough time to react - seems I was wrong.
