Super Halo 64: Plumbing Evolved- (Mini Hack)

Hello again, sorry for not being as relevant as I was in 2013-January 2014. As you all know, (or if you didn't), by now. My laptop broke in January causing for me to be irrelevant until I was able to catch up with where I was at, and until I could recover the files off the hard drive. That being said, I am back for REAL and will stay up-to-date from this point onward. BUT. There is a catch. When I have ran out of ideas for new levels for my Major hack NSM64,(New Super Mario 64), I will work on side projects, AKA, mini-hacks until I get inspired once more. And as of right now, I am NOT inspired when it comes to level design. So here is the announcement, (that I am very proud to announce) of my NEW multiplayer hack, "Super Halo 64: Plumbing Evolved", where I will try to port as many Halo multiplayer maps to SM64 as I possibly can, while keeping in mind the N64's physical limitations to prevent lag. The first level shown off as you may have already seen was a re-creation of the timeless classic, Blood Gulch, (from Halo: Combat Evolved), shown off in a Sketchup preview, or if not view it below for your sake. And now, I would like to the first IN-GAME preview of the map fully-functioning in the SM64 engine. Enjoy :-)

Keep in mind, this is a W.I.P which means anything shown can very well be changed to suit people's liking and is NOT FINAL. ;-)

A small little update to the level size, textures, and graphics...
P.S. The level size is EXACTLY 7 NOW. See what I did there Bungie Fans...

Small question. Do you guys and gals like how I have the map shaded in a faithful to the original, yet cartoonish, and cel-shaded without the outlines, texturing? Or do you all think I should have the textures more detailed? Whichever may be decided, this shall affect ALL MAPS that I add to the hack, so... choose wisely. #smw{:TUP:}

K. I will make it more textured then, (Though I will admit I was kinda getting used to the cel-shaded texturing...) #w{=3}

Since this is a mini-hack, how many stars will it have? I'm thinking like 10-20?
Congratulations! You have just met BroDute's number 1 fangirl.

Depends on HOW MANY LEVELS and assets from the franchise I can port. I plan to add the MJOLNIR Mark V Helmet to replace Mario's head; and see if I can't replace Koopa shells with Ghosts from Halo, (Specifically CE, since they are higher poly than Halo 2). I'm gonna try to at least add 10 multiplayer maps, but I doubt if i'll be able to add any CE Campaign maps, but I might be able to add ONE, who knows?...

Update: The Hack is on hiatus until MARIO64 is finished, and the NSM64 Demo is released; but I am still planning ideas. P.S. The CE campaign level that will be added will be The Silent Cartographer. It is the smallest Campaign map in the game I can think of, but may take up multiple areas and levels, due to it's polygon count exceeding the 20,000 count. But I will ADD it to the game. Chao #w{=3}

Is THIS Better, EDIT: Will be adding original Textures soon...

Note: Most of the time, when I show shadows in a model, they will USUALLY not be included in the final model, as the right fog and shading can make up for it

TBH, I'm starting to lose motivation in making this hack because finding the original textures, compressing them, and giving them proper UV mapping is a pain in the *you know what*.

Anyways, here's a crappy preview of small things I have added today:

(The link function doesn't work for me, RIP;
Also, if I do decide to cancel this, I'll literally just release the unfinished ROM and the source. I haven't lost ALL motivation yet though...#w{=)})
