Risk: SMWCentral Edition

Risk is a popular strategy board game which I'm now bringing to you in glorious HD, 5k resolution, forum game form.

Each player controls a color of armies deployed in territories across the game map with the objective of achieving dominance of the map.

Everyone will begin the game with a few territories under their control. At the start of their turn, each player places reinforcements in territories they control. The number of reinforcements you get each turn is equal to the number of territories you control, and controlling special groups of territories provides a bonus.

They can then choose to attack territories adjacent to ones they have more than one unit in. Both players roll dice until one side loses all their units, each time the dice are rolled their die are compared from highest to lowest, and if a player's die is higher than the other's, they kill a unit. Defenders roll one less die than the attacker. (one more complicated example is 6+1+1 vs 4+3, in this case 6 is higher than 4, so the defender loses a unit, but 3 is higher than 1, so the attacker also loses a unit.) You can attack any number of times in a turn.

After this, players can move units from territories into adjacent territories. This can be done to as many groups of units as wanted, but each group can only move once.

At the end of a player's turn, if they have captured at least one territory, they gain a card which can be traded in for bonus units during the reinforcement stage if you own a set.

That's the entire rules. If you're interested, sign up with a colour below. I'm waiting to see the player count before picking a map, but dw the game will be more graphic than me rambling in text.

Signing up as pink. Gotta take that risk.

I'll also be using the Same Time Risk rules, which means everyone can post their moves at the same time, without needing to take individual turns.

When you attack, declare every attack from each territory you want to attack from. (So, "I want to attack from England to France, Germany to France and Spain to Italy") You can attack a single territory from multiple territories, combining the powers of your armies. If two different players both try and attack the same territory, their armies first battle eachover before moving on to attack.
canIjoinin since I seem to be in the forum game mood~
with either black, dark grey, or rainbow color depending on what would be most visible
thx to e r i k for layout
I'll join as the Green Army.
Joining as the white army.
Later.
Seems nice, but I think it all seems a little to complicated for a Forum Game...
There is no knowledge that is not power.
I'll give it a whirl, and I'll be the RED army.
Just so you know, I'm very active on the site anymore like I was before; I'm mainly on Discord now.

Its...... a really simple and well known family board game lol. Its probably more simple overall than monopoly. I'm sure it'll make sense once you see it in action.
Seems cool, joining as the Orange Army.
Should I join, or should I... bah, screw it, I'm in. Blue sounds fun.
I really need a layout. :<

Of course not, the game is extremely complicated and not at all suited for a forum game. Why, the very notion is absurd!

I, for one, fully support a ban on Impetus for daring to suggest such a complicated game. The nerve! How dare we have such forum games that require actual strategy! Absurd!

Turn 1 - Reinforcment Phase

Each Player can place 10 units on spaces they control the map as it is the first turn.

Example: I place 10 units in Japan. (this is also my move =p)

You can split the units up between any territories you control as you wish.
One each in Full Releases, Works in Progress, and Hack Moderation, two each in SMW Data Repository, and Misc. ROM Hacking, and three in Collaboration Projects.
I really need a layout. :<
Place 4 in trash can, 3 in featured hack voting, 2 in game creation, and 1 in smwcx.
Later.
