Risk is a popular strategy board game which I'm now bringing to you in glorious HD, 5k resolution, forum game form.
Each player controls a color of armies deployed in territories across the game map with the objective of achieving dominance of the map.
Everyone will begin the game with a few territories under their control. At the start of their turn, each player places reinforcements in territories they control. The number of reinforcements you get each turn is equal to the number of territories you control, and controlling special groups of territories provides a bonus.
They can then choose to attack territories adjacent to ones they have more than one unit in. Both players roll dice until one side loses all their units, each time the dice are rolled their die are compared from highest to lowest, and if a player's die is higher than the other's, they kill a unit. Defenders roll one less die than the attacker. (one more complicated example is 6+1+1 vs 4+3, in this case 6 is higher than 4, so the defender loses a unit, but 3 is higher than 1, so the attacker also loses a unit.) You can attack any number of times in a turn.
After this, players can move units from territories into adjacent territories. This can be done to as many groups of units as wanted, but each group can only move once.
At the end of a player's turn, if they have captured at least one territory, they gain a card which can be traded in for bonus units during the reinforcement stage if you own a set.
That's the entire rules. If you're interested, sign up with a colour below. I'm waiting to see the player count before picking a map, but dw the game will be more graphic than me rambling in text.
