Also, if a movie were based on a specific game (which I doubt it would) then the most obvious picks are A Link to the Past and The Ocarina of Time. They're the most traditional games in the series, having all the archtypical elements Zelda is known for: A Triforce-centered story; a plot with two main acts (a short, early quest to find three objects, then the latter, longer quest to awaken/rescue seven sages/maidens); duel worlds to explore; both games are set in Hyrule; a lack of unique gimmicks (what I mean is that both games really don't feature much that is completely unique to them in the series. Time travel is a recurring theme, as is having two distinct worlds. Twilight Princess' light/twilight, Majoras' Mask 3-day cycle and Skyward Sword's air/earth gimmicks are unique in the series.)
