RETURN OF FLOATING MUNCHERS?? (The sequel no one was particularly expecting, by me and Alcaro)

Full SMW Hack

(Note: checking this thread is good for context! I don't think you'd need to play the hack though.)

Mario has finally fixed the fancy land from the awful looking lookingness of the floating munchers and it now looks beautiful and great. He now sets on an adventure to find his way home because that's what every good man needs after a long day of work. What could possibly go wrong?

Obviously something!

(I don't discourage using savestates, but I suppose anyone can do it without them just fine)

(By the way, if you're running on the following issue in the final area:
bombs are not spawning; try dying and returning from the midway point; seems like a RNG interaction-related issue that might or might not be fixed at some point - apologies!
)

It's easily the best thing I've done
So why the empty numb?
This deserves more attention. Aside from the mentioned bug, this was fun as hell and very well made. Design and gimmicks were brutal, but at the same time, fair (can be played savestate-less). That's rare (and good). Speaking of the gimmicks, the idea of those muncher sprites was pretty neat. The plot and the messages made me chuckle quite a bit.
That ending was hilarious tho. lol

It was a particularly short but sweet experience, and I encourage everyone to give it a try. :)
That gimmick is really brutal. I like how you used the floating munchers in a way that's more appreciable, as well as the intentional cutoffs they create (I'm planning to implement the same gimmick of muncher trains in a level of mine ironically enough), and it came along rather nicely.

No issues there by the way; good job to both of you!

This looks silly
(I think that's expected from you =w=)
. I haven't played the prequel yet, but the ideas here were funny yet creative.

I laughed at the P-Switch part. Best thing I've seen today, lol.
WE WORRIED FLOATING MUNCHERS WOULD BE DEFEAT.
BUT AT THE END, WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINT.

GOOD GAME, WE HAD FUN AND LAUGH. WE RECOMMEND THIS HACK TO PLANT FRIENDS.

BUT YOU COULD HAVE ADDED AN EXTRA CHECK POINT WHERE THE FLOATING MUNCHER APPEARS.
I think I will not touch munchers to avoid getting hurt.
Who is your favourite player?

"Cristo Ronaldo, Suey!" - iShowSpeed
Thanks for the replies, guys! :D

Also, since two people advised me that, I found a way around to give the level another checkpoint before the floating muncher appears. The patch has been updated to the friendlier version for anyone who still wants to try it out!

Sounds like a good idea to me my fellow Backyardigan!
