smwc+
Get it here

smwc+ is an add-on for SMWCentral that adds various features to the site.
It has been a (mostly) private project of mine for a few years now but I feel that with the recent rewrite it's ready for the public.
A "Plugin Settings" link will be added to the sidebar (or in the footer, in case something went wrong), be sure to check it out as most features are disabled by default.

Features
* Quickly open multiple unread threads at once
* Quick reply in threads
* Automatically updating "NEW" indicators on the forums
* Nicknaming users
* Following sidebar
* Optional smwc design tweaks
* Pretty "time ago" timestamps
* Always fresh
* And more!

Thanks to
leod, for always being a cutie
KTB, for helping to test previous versions
NoelYoshi, for helping me test firefox support
GiantShyGuy, he knows what he did
lolyoshi, for helping me test if this works in a 3 year old version of greasemonkey (it doesn't)
Kieran Menor, for making my life easier

I am currently away celebrating midsummer, so while I take bug reports I might not be able to fix things instantly. Currently I am posting from mobile.

[EDIT] The extension has been updated to support the *cough*broken*cough* C3 theme #smw{:TUP:}

[POST C3 EDIT] I don't intend to update this thread with information about the extension. Unless there's a demand for a proper thread its homepage will remain my profile. I'll be keeping track of recent changes to the extension over there as well.
I'd like to say it solve a bunch of problem when visiting SMW Central.
Good job!
Great extension. I remember using the alpha for a while and being really satisfied with it, but I never brought it over to Firefox when I started using it.

Quick reply is always good.
twitter is basically where im at now

Nicknaming users

So that is how Lightvane called himself "Bowser"?

No. Lightvayne changed his name to Bowser using administrative maaaaaaaaaaaagic.
Plus, nicknames you give users only show up for you. If you nickname someone you hate "Fuck this guy," that guy's name wont become "Fuck this guy" for anyone else.

I'm actually getting a weird bug with it where it keeps reloading the forums in an endless cycle. Not sure what that's all about. Neat stuff otherwise.

Hmm, disable the "reload forum" (I don't remember the exact name I gave it) feature in the Plugin Settings. I wasn't able to test it with the changed html so it's probably the culprit.
Thanks, that did it.
Trying it out right now. Quick reply is absolutely wonderful though, and so is the "open multiple unread threads" button, so I'm probably gonna keep this on no matter what. I like how intuitive it is to enable or disable the features you like (the uncapitalized "settings" is a little niptick that's bugging me though D:)
It's easily the best thing I've done
So why the empty numb?
Thanks. I downloaded it and really like it. My one complaint is that we can't edit our nicknames' colors.

I was trying to figure what option was right. Since this is the first opinion I've gotten on it I might as well change it.
[EDIT] Updated to capitalize "Settings".

I was considering that a while ago but I never really put a lot of thought into it. It shouldn't actually be that hard to add so I might as well.

Note though that additions and fixes are a little delayed. I should be able to work on things in a few hours.
This is nice, I have just tried it and it seems to be in working order for me. Seeing as I have been here for years, I have gotten used to doing things the hard way so I won't be using this (I know that this is a strange reason, but hey, it's me being me).

Nevertheless, great work!
Heyyy. Been waiting for this! I remember loving the hell out of this when it was just in simplest form a year or so ago. Cool to see it back and better with new features. Right now I'm gonna check out if I'd rather use the script and the extension. And as I said before, quick reply is god sent.
This is absolutely fantastic. So far I'm loving Quick Reply and the fixed-position menu. Now it just needs thread subscription/email notifications and it'll be perfect.
Quick reply, and... sticky menus? In this decade? This is pure magic.

Not only do those extensions fill just the right gaps, they're also really well-crafted. This is what I call a good user experience. Great job, dax!

(also I see what you did there with the top bar menu *smirk*)

What I really like it that being linked to a specific post also gets it highlighted. It's simple but sooo useful. Other additions are great too.

Awesome work on this. Really helpful.

E: By the way yeah the theme is kinda broken because it was being made before all the site updates. It's late but might still be worth mentioning.
E2: It seems possible to accidentally access one of the affiliate links when the menu (with fixed position enabled) is over them. Just discovered it when trying to click on a link of the menu while it was over the affiliates. It's nothing major, but a little annoying. :T

Yeah I had been working with Kieran on some updates and this C3 theme reverted a bunch of those.

Strange, I thought I had fixed that. For now I guess you can enable hiding the affiliates section.
This is pretty good and useful!

Also, it seems to work pretty well on Opera Next with the lastest version (2.1.10) of Violentmonkey.
The rounding on ban titles can sometimes make the length of the ban seem shorter than it is, it will say unbanned in 1 day while the actual duration is still 47 hours.

Really awesome, but plz add a option to nuke certain users layouts
