A super mario RPG Hack: Post info

Looking really nice so far!
New layout by RanAS!
Thank you again, Millenium!

And here is now the level I'm currently working on! #tb{^V^}

Looking great! Only complaint, is the room with the three doors. Can the doors be moved over one square to the right? It looks unentered like that.
New layout by RanAS!
Well, I could enlarge a little bit the level, but I'd like to let it like that. The door on the left is leading to the empty room.

EDIT: Or I could reduce the size so it's centered and symmetrical? Would it better that way?

And the other left room from the dining room leads to the staff room. Since it's a staff door, I figured it would be better to put it the "farest" possible.

Yeah, I agree with keeping it farther away, it just bothers me because it looks uneven lol

There is something I noticed: I think it's almost always better to be uneven. I think it add some charm to it. #ab{:)}

Well... Been a long time since I've been here again....

Anyway, after catching up, you've seem to have made a lot of progress, so keep that up.
End of this message.
Thank you, Luigi-Fan, I really appreciate the fact that you're interested in this hack and always come back to give feedback when you have some time. ^^

So, I've worked on a cloudy level(Poke to DarkFeposo...#ab{^_^})

Yeah I know there is some incomplete stuff on the bottom. I mainly focused on the castle right now. I think I'll shorten the walking path.

That looks great so far!

Thank you, MKillenium Luigi!

I've updated the screenshot. What do you think about it? :)

Looks nice, but maybe you should add a few small / big holes in the cloud for decoration to make walking a bit trickier.
New layout by RanAS!
Its "version" of Nimbus Land is perfect! And as the MilleniumLuigi said, add a few holes in the clouds :D
That's a good idea, however, I'm not sure if I'll do it, since the current hole is the only way to exist Nimbus land. The exit on the upper right lead to the castle. Your idea made me wonder if I could make the field a lot less square. However, The graphics of the game won't make it easy... in fact, it might be impossible or too much work for nothing big.

I've decided to separate them because these two places are very different for my hack. So... :) Maybe I'll add a cloudy road? I don't know yet. I still have some small decoration on the clouds to make, so it won't be completely white. And don't forget NPCs! It's small enough that the NPCs will "annoy" the player. :o)

Thank you, MilleniumLuigi and Darkfeposo. :)

Just an update: I didn't draw new levels to show on Lazy Shell, sadly. However, I did draw some draft on sheets for the next section I think I'll draw. :) Next week I think I'll have some stuff to show!

I can't wait! :D It looks really good, I love two separate maps for it! I notice you have L3 rain on there, is that intentional?
Peace!Layout by Erik557 & LDA.
Thank you!

It's because I didn't touch Layer 3 as of yet. I mainly focus on drawing Layer 1 and 2 since Layer three is linked to some options and I still haven't figured yet how it works. So yes it's intentionnal and it won't stay.

Thank you for the comments. :)

Just a post to tell ya that this hack is still not dead, just didn't find time to continue n it. Being away for one weekend got me behind schedule for my summer studies + my work that drain some times. Once I catch up, I'll be able to continue on it.. :)

Back from the graves, again.

Alright, Right now I got an idea. Not only to motivate myself, but to see in a easier way my progress, I've decided to start drawing the solidity maps and will start linking some of the maps.

That way, I'll be able to clean some things and do some fun thing instead of doing only the boring part.

EDIT: Alright, set up the first level that my debug level redirect. Will do more.

I have to say that seeing Mario moving on my level is motivating.#tb{:j}

EDIT: An another level can be directed to with my debug level. :)

Alright, linked a third section to my debug level! :)

Will do the priority thingy with the solidity maps soon.
