New Super Mario Bros. U



I'm making an remake of nsmbu on the Wii.

This hack will have:

New models

New music,

New world maps,

NSMBU tilesets,

And a new logo,

And I'm also going to change the level samples that newer uses into one that matches the nsmbu levels.

Progress:

Great. Now the thread's here :). Ninja Boy is right. Don't post threads of your hack or misc anywhere. Put it on the right forum, so you can find it easily. Now, I can't wait to see the remake of NSMBU in a NSMBWII hack.
Can we maybe see some screenshots of progress?
Including with the screenshots, will there also be some new tweaks that weren't in NSMBU or in NSMBWII for example a new HUD system or a new kind of camera perspective?
We're trying to make the HUD system and the layouts like the one in nsmbu.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean, but to edit the title screen, place the character entrance at least four blocks ahead, or else the screen will be black when you boot the game.

i would love to help make levels. if you want, MPG can do one world and I can do another, however i cannot help with music or model or powerup editing. sorry! just tell me how i can help and i definitely can!

Can someone can give me a formulate where I put the frame number, and I get (x,y) coordinates.

I need one for making an animation.
Here's a video showing nsmbw's file select screen in newer, the heapbars will be removed and the message for exiting out of free for all and coin battle mode will be changed.

The nsmbu logo has been fixed so the one in the video is outdated.

How can I get the data files to show what world your on instead of saying world 0?

Also can the quick save feature from nsmbw be used in newer?

Where can I find the power ups sprite code, like the mini mushroom, propeller mushroom, etc.

Also how can I code a animation into the game where it will play/stop if you press and hold a button?
