It's just good. The good things about the map outshines its flaws. It's clean, and well thought out. Every thing feels like it's deliberately there - nothing is without purpose. I do think the middle green area is a little too bland, but other than that, it's very well done.

In terms of composition, no other map comes close. Many maps are a cluster of cramped islands or blatant quadrants, but #15 has large landmasses that flow into each other and make good use of all the space the main map provides. They also have unique general shapes and are arranged at different angles, whereas #17's grassland and forest worlds look quite similar, and everything is viewed head-on.
I feel completely different. Entry 15's bizarre landmasses feel sketch-like. There's no clear composition. It could be visually appealing with the low-grasslands going to the top right mountains, but the castle world is far too much of a sore thumb. It's like Hawaii and Alaska on the bottom right of USA maps, except cramped in. Added with how homogeneous it looks, it's just looks uninteresting and unintentional. That's my problem with a lot of the maps. Also the bottom left of the map is really ugly, looking at it as a photographer. It's one of those details that becomes distracting to the picture, so you crop it out.
In any case in terms of "most interesting" composition, for me it has to go to Entry 2. The way the landmasses frame the middle bay makes the map feel like intentional and thought out (even more so than 17's), though despite that, I feel that it looks too homogeneous (even more than 15) to be better than 17's.

Despite what is said in the rules, why in the world can't I discuss the idea of merging maps (when other people already started discussing it) in a discussion thread were everyone is talking about which maps they like best. I like 17, 3, and 7, and is throwing in my thoughts on them, which happens to simply include the idea of merging. The winner may have the last say, but it's ridiculous to call me out specifically for discussing it before the winner is picked when he have no winner yet. I'll
knock it off, but geez. You make it sound like I'm irrational about this.
