Problem with ROM

I downloaded SMW and Lunar Magic in other computer and every time that I save a level, it says: "the restore system cannot locate a unmodified copy of the ROM with header...".

The message ends with:
"Would you like to browse a copy of this file now?"

When I choose the ROM, it says:

"The copy of the original ROM that the restore system just tried to use has an incorrect checksum..."

It says to me select an unmodified copy of the game with header.

How I can solve this?
In the normal computer, it solved suddently!
I want to insert ExGFX, but it is not letting me.
Options>Restore Options>Uncheck everything.
That's easiest way to solve that.

And if Lunar Magic says that, your unmodified rom probably really has incorrect checksum...
Have a nice day/night!
Thanks!

But when I click #lm{extgfx} or #lm{extexgfx}, the folders are created, but they aren't showed in the ROM directory. How I can solve that?

You'll need to be more specific with your second post there. I'll help with that after you be more specific. As for the incorrect checksum, run the unmodified ROM in Lunar Magic, and add a header to it, that should work.

More specific? Here I go.

1. I click on #lm{extgfx}
2. The program says that the Graphics folder is created in C:\Program Files\SMW\Lunar Magic\Graphics
3. I go to that folder and don't find the Graphics folder
4. I try extracting ExGFX (clicking on #lm{extexgfx}) and the same above happen.

How I add the header?

Does LM actually say that? I can't remember it ever saying anything when I press that.
Anyway, the folders are suppose to be in the same directory as your ROM, not as Lunar Magic.

... what even am I doing with my life?
My ROM and Lunar Magic are in the same folder here...
Well, I think I'm giving up of the ExGFX for now. Maybe I try to solve it in the future.
Thanks for helping!

The newer versions of LM will tell you when a ROM is headerless and they'll ask you to add a header. Just simply press yes and it will be it.

There are also third-party programs, but LM actually does the trick, so I don't think they're needed now.
The Program Files directory is a protected location starting with Windows Vista. Attempts by programs to write in there will normally get redirected by the OS to an obscure location in your user folder.

In other words, don't try to store your ROM or other data files in there. You're just going to end up confusing yourself when you can't find things in newer versions of Windows.
