Next Super Mario Bros. Wii

NOTE: A lot of people have walked up to me saying that I have a bad level design, I don't know how to use Reggie, etc. So, I have taken that advice and begun to explore Reggie to the fullest depth. I also have switched using Reggie! Release 3 to Reggie Mod v3.83, which has all of Newer sprites and also has more sprite images displayed on the editor. I'd love to use Reggie! Next Level Editor Beta, but I do not want to run it by source or anything, instead, I want it to have the same layout, just click on the Reggie Application to start...if anyone would help me out with Reggie Next Level Editor Beta, I'd certainly think of using it for my levels.

Ok. So today, I have started to build a new hack. It will be called "Next Super Mario Bros. Wii". So here is the progress:

World 1-1 (The Corridor)
A passageway themed hack, with many secrets to explore, and obviously, fake spikes and star coins.

PLEASE DO TAKE NOTICE: Yes, this is NOT done! I would estimate the progress of this level to be around 30%50% complete.

Screenshots (in Reggie Level Editor...please somebody, teach me how to use Dolphin Emulator to take in game screenshots and how to play your custom made levels! That would be very helpful!) OLD!!!

Please link the images or put smaller ones, because it really stretches the tables. (Not trying to backseat moderate or something though.)

By the way, not trying to make you feel bad or something, but... most big collabs that aren't official (like this) fail. What's even worse is that you're not really much experienced, so I suggest you to start with something more simple, like an one world hack that is more of an experimental hack. It's still up to you; but it may be a bit hard for you at the moment. You must be a great leader as well for a collab. When you're thinking that you're ready, feel free to make a new collab or continue this.

These are just my thoughts, and it's still up to you. I hope all goes well for you, good luck!

So someone gave me a suggestion on NSMBHD to fix the wall tiling. They will be fixed soon. Stay tuned.

I've given you criticism on your previous project, which you since then abandoned. I'll be posting it again as nothing has changed so far, except for the enemy placement.

I'm going to be very honest with you and say that your level needs a lot of work. It's very linear and there's quite a lot of cut-off tiles

You would want to use the corner tiles and wall tiles where the holes are, right now the ground abruptly cuts off, which doesn't look good at all.

Try to use layer 0 and layer 2 as well, foreground and background decoration brings a level to life and makes the player enjoy the level more. To prevent your level being linear, add in obstacles and slopes. Play around a bit, your imagination and creativity is the limit.

Also, I recommend that you use Reggie Next. It is a better version of Reggie with more sprite previews, added features and NSMBWii mod support (NewerSMB, AnotherSMB, etc)

Also, don't place slopes on layer 0 or 2, otherwise Mario will fall right through them. Slopes should be on layer 1 if you always want Mario to be able to walk on those tiles.

Update 1:

Fixed tiling errors, put slope on Layer 1 instead of Layer 0, so Mario won't fall through.

Added Venus Fire Trap, Spike Tops, Spinies, and a Giga Goomba for a more diversified enemy experience. No enemy spam occurs however.

New Screenshots are coming soon.

Yes, and I will use NoteBlock's Japan composition from Kinnay's File Depot as one of the songs. I needed no permission from him, as stated in the description, and yes, I will give him credit here in this hack.
