In this music, there's this extremely high pitched beeping. I know what channel it's in, but if I raise the octave, nothing happens. How do I fix this?

You probably have to lower the octave, not raise. The higher the octave, the higher the pitch. The lower the octave, the lower the pitch. But, you probably already know it since it's been a long time since you posted, but I still hope I was helpful.

Edit: QUESTION: Is it possible to put more than one note at a time in each track? Let's say I wanna put chords(with 3 notes at a time, for exemple), can I put the 3 notes together in one single track? Or do I have to create 3 separate tracks?

You have to use three seperate tracks for that.

I don't know if this is asked already...
I am trying to insert M&LPiT-Thwomp Volcano into Music 20 of a clean SMW ROM (not my hack, which isn't clean). Should I delete the original 20 TXT file and replace it with Thwomp Volc. TXT file renamed into 20? Then insert it as usual?

EDIT: I forgot to expand my ROM. Sorry.
I don't know if this has been asked before (probably yes, but I really didn't want to check out over 1300 posts).

I just started using Addmusic (well, Addmusic made easy). I know how to INIT the ROM corectly and I know that you can do this only once, but how about inserting music? Can this only be done once as well, or can I add music anytime I want?

You can add music anytime you want.

Alright, thanks!

*starts adding music*

Yes. As long as your 20.txt file has the Thwomp Volcano music in it, it will work fine. You can either delete the original 20.txt file and rename the Thwomp Volc to 20.txt or you can delete the contents of 20.txt and paste the contents of thwomp volc in it.
One more thing you can do is open thwomp volcano and save as 20.txt(inside the addmusic folder) and replace the original file. You're fine as long as the contents the song you want are inside 20.txt.
You can do this to other songs as well using 20-39 TXT files as well.

Both sound really nice :D

I have a question...

Is there a way to do pitch sliding in the songs? I found volume sliding in the tutorial, but not pitch.
Can you help me??

Download the instrument test (right at the top) in the custom music section. The code for the pitch slide is in there, you can't miss it. Unfortunately, I don't really know what the commands are doing, some while ago I was trying to figure it out by testing various values, but I don't had much luck. So... I you're able to understand that command, I sure would love to know how this works exactly :p

Okay, other easy questions (hopefully):

When I insert music with Addmusic Made Easy, the POW / Star glitch occurs (the music never stops playing until the stage is finished).

- Is this AMME's fault?
- If not, what do I have to do to fix it?
- Can I insert the music with the normal Addmusic although I INITed the ROM with AMME, and would this fix the glitch?

Ah, yeah, I remember seeing this somewhere, but... uhh... where exactly do I need to search that? I opened my ROM with a hex editor and searched for the code, but I didn't find anything.

I know those must be some really stupid questions, but hey, I'm new to Addmusic, and once I know it, I know it!

EDIT: Nevermind, I found it. >_<

I hope you understand this:

I've heard something about there are some spots when inserting music (the .txt's - 20, 21, etc) that need to have small kb's worth of music going into certain spots. I think one of them is 21-24. Is there others, am I wrong, or what?
I'm not 100% sure, but remove the brackets... aka []
Just back here to browse a bit.
I've tried it without the brackets, but none of the ways seem to work...

I'm trying to insert music, and after it reaches 27, it says the data is too large.
